Iberica Traversa 2023, Gravel and Trail, part 1: from the Pyrenees direction south

- The Iberia Traversa (iberica-traver...) is a self supported bike adventure across Spain.
In total it took me 1729 km on Gravel, Single trail and also some sections on tarmac, to connect the gravel segments, to one of the most beautiful countries and areas of Europe.This video covers the days from the start in Irun, at the Pyrenees ,until the Alto Tajo Natural Park.

What does self supported mean? Pretty simple, you do need to take care of everything yourself, meaning supply and carrying your equipment. The route of the Iberica Traversa is fixed, meaning you have to follow it.
It was the third Ultra-Distance cycling event I participate in (and finished!) in 2023. I am connecting this with fundraising money for a street-children project at the Philippines. It takes round about half an Euro per child and day for a warm meal, pre-school or school attendance. You can support my activity at any time, even when I am not on the road :-).
