The only thing I don't like about insurgent is that tris's (shailene's) hair is too short. In insurgent (the book) it said that she cut her hair to her shoulders! They didn't say anything about a pixie cut!!

Its because she had to short the hair for the fault in our stars.

its the one where they go on the zip lines. she pushed the door open and is the first person onto the roof
actually..uriah WAS in the film. he was the one to ask tris to go to the zip line, and in insurgent where they were on the top of another building, talking about heights and outside of the wall

only people who've read the books would know this.

ACTUALLY I think that was zeke, his brother. on the other 2 movies u see uriah is the one who said 'wheres ur scary boyfriend' and i think they may of actually said his name once-
They left a lot of important things out of the movie from the book cough cough Susan cough cough
Was that really an important part of the story? I don't think so. She didn't move the plot forward at all.
Ikr. Insurgent is different too, Shai said so herself. There's that weird box thing, no Cara, no one will understand the roles of Uriah and Edward and they're adding a new main character called Edgar!
if you watch the deleted scenes, it's pretty much things in the book they didn't put in the movie.
mathilda Hill Veronica said the box "takes a lot of her favorite scenes from the book and puts them in the same place at the same time" so nobody should be worrying about the box "ruining the source material" as much as they are. I'm pretty sure it just contains Edith Prior's message at the end. Additionally, I don't get your argument about "not understanding the role of Uriah". What do you mean they won't understand? It'll be just as normal as introducing another new character.
BellaMia23 I can't argue with you on that. It was pretty frustrating when I watched the deleted scenes for the first time, but to be fair, they wanted to keep those scenes in the movie (especially Edward's scene), but unfortunately, it just wasn't working. Neil said it literally pained him to have to cut Edward from the film.
TheMattGrimes Uriah and Tris' friendship will be confusing, and as a new character he won't have the same importance and the audience will care less when he dies in Allegiant
When I watched divergent I couldn't wait to see how they recreated Peter stabbing Edward in the eye........but it never came😂

I don't see why people compare it so much to the hunger games. It's not the hunger games yes it is the same genre. Dis-utopian society, action girl hero. Need for revolution. It's only because it came out so close together. There have been many disutopia books 1984 , Ferienheit 451,brave new world, the giver . It's like saying all scifi is the same because they have similar elements. It's a genre. Neither book series is perfect but both series are interesting and have cool main characters so would people stop the nitpicking!?

Yeah I agree, it’s is, but you have to not think about how it’s similar to The Hunger Games because then you’ll miss how it’s so different from it (different in its own ways I mean)

I wasn’t mad about the first movie, I wanted the drunk scene and I wish tris would’ve called him Tobias because it was their special thing but it wasn’t too bad. The third one was awful though they took out the biggest plot twist in the entire series and the ending was completely different

Veronica Roth lives in my area in Chicago IL and my parents know her parents so I got to go to see divergent with Veronica herself! It was one of the best days ever.

Uriah was in the movie. Although he wasn't in it as often as he was in the book. He still was. He asked Tris to go zip lining after they had a game of capture the flag.

I searched the entire thing for Gabe’s name, and was very sad when I didn’t see him (if you don’t know who he is, he was a background character and Dauntless bien so he was only in a chapter of or two, but they should have included his name anyways!!)
