Finding Your Spiritual Refuge

We need spaces where we can figure things out.
Modern life can be too intense to do the inner work we need to do. So we retreat to a spiritual refuge to help ourselves temporarily.
A spiritual refuge is not an escape.
It's not a Utopia.
It's a chance to figure ourselves out with less distraction. Sometimes that is a spiritual community or with family, but other times, it's by ourselves. It just has to be good enough and where we feel safe enough to let go deeply.
The true inner spiritual refuge, however, is the space of awareness, which is always with us.
