I updated this morning... Unfortunately there is a big storm off the New England coast right now and we have high winds and drizzle... I will have to try it tomorrow.
+Mick Harrison I checked on Kittyhawk.io. Those spots were not subject to any flight restrictions. But conditions change all the time, such as during baseball games at wrigley field, which is nearby
+Raphael Igrişianu you’ll need remote to go faster than that. It can’t keep up for long (although if you start the shot out from a couple extra feet out, it’s not a problem)
+FloNo Trail there are many regulations and the air space restrictions are constantly in flux, depending on what is going on in the city. I rely on an app that can give real time flight restrictions (or lack thereof) based on my location. Last week, I was hoping to fly around my parents' new home in a very suburban (almost rural) area, but I couldn't due to a temporary no fly zone set up for the President's vacation.
+FloNo Trail I am hoping that, at a certain tipping point, the regulations will simplify. I think the regulations do not scale for a larger number of users. In addition, or maybe in the alternative, there could be a graded system, depending on flight height/distance. (Similar to how many countries have graded licenses for motorcycles, depending on engine size)
I find it so cool how it can follow you like that, it's like your own personal film crew
+MCKENNAJONSEY it still take some input at times, but the tech is definitely impressive

+Mark Plante it doesn't seem to have changed much for me, except make it work like it did before

Awesome views, I love the spark amazing drone.
i wish i had more time to fly it
big question, how long does the battery runs?
depending on the air temps and wind and the way you fly, about 20 minutes
I may use your video in one motivacional christian video?
Do you know any safe space to fly a drone in Chicago?.
Helicopters/helipads make things difficult
I'd love a drone that looks so awesome!!
+The FOD Runner it's a lot of fun
Legal to fly in the city is it?

did it still follow you that way at your speed, I heard it can only follow at 6 m/h

ok , got it, then practically I can do the same without phone after having updated it with firmware 1.08
+Raphael Igrişianu I don’t have the remote. Everything I’ve done is with phone control
Ah, the spark! Are there many regulations regarding flying in the city? We seem to be facing ever more stringent regulations.

kofuzi - and i think as more and more people get drones the regs will only get stricter. You’re getting some good footage from it.
