As generic as some of the lyrics in some of the songs may be, (i.e. slapping words/phrases like “Brum”, “Big Town” or “Yellow Car” into the lyrics and calling it a day) I actually really enjoy listening to all of them. But we just can’t deny that “Brum, Brum Gets Things Done” is an absolute bop.

Do you want to know what's also the weirdest album ever made? Mr. Blobby the album. You should talk about him, and his song of the same name that originally peaked at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart on 11 December 1993 for one week but reclaimed the top spot to become the Christmas number one single, and spent a total of three weeks at No. 1
Did anyone else sing "Brum, Brum, kiss his bum" when the ending theme came on or was it just me and my sister Edit: Wow, it only took the first few seconds of the second song for me to get slapped in the face with nostalgia
@@JanTheAnimatorActualI really like ITV News at the moment, but I am not worried about them moving it around, as probably 95% of it's news audience don't care either.
Fun fact: Brum Brum wiggle actually made it on CBeebies the official album back in 2002. Yes. An official compilation of CBeebies, which also had Christmas number 1 Can We Fix It, that one Tweenies song about going mad from having fun, and the ONLY album with the balamory mega mix. Had Brum Brum wiggle…
"Have Fun, Go Mad" was originally a 90s RnB track recorded by an artist called Blair and there was another Tweenies record on that album called "Do The Lollipop" which idk whether that's a cover or an original
I would've loved to have seen an instrumental disc track of the chase theme from the official show. The build-up was always my favourite part. Or, how about the victory tune? I'm loving how silly some of these musical tracks are. But a full OST of the show's orchestrated music would've been good.
This album does seem a bit late to be released but some of the music does seem far more like early 00's. Some of these do sound like they would have been better if they were actually used in a Brum episode, not released years later. When I heard Beep! Beep! for some reason, the Fast Food Rockers came into my head and I had long forgot about them. 14:12 That country style voice 🤣 Mirrors need a little, ha, ha, haaa... 😆 He'll Be There doesn't sound right for Brum. I am more reminded of a song that wouldn't have sounded out of place in the Pokemon anime in some emotional scene.
Yessss!!!!!!! I’m in this vid to the song Beep Beep! Get in! I once co-hijacked an airplane and was raced by Brum down a runway. Fun fact - Brum rolled and filming had to be stopped while everyone panicked. He was ok but this footage exists somewhere I’ve seen it. Challenge for you - make it a mission to track it down.
The "Yellow car, yellow car, he's gonna fix you!" following a line about "You've taken a wrong turn" - gave me the feeling of a vigilante Brum. You've made some bad life choices, and now Brum is after you.
How about Record Breakers? That programme no joke produced an album with the late legendary Roy Castle singing about the world's largest man Robert Earl Hughes and the World's Tallest Man Robert Pershing Wadlow. Stuart Millard on his channel profiled this the greatest entry to the Music Hall of Fame since Simon Cowell thought it would be brilliant to put several WWF wrestlers including the legendary Undertaker into a recording studio and produce the Slam Jam Album!
I'm getting flashbacks everytime I see him outside the Council House As I literally worked round the corner from there in Louisa Ryland House for 14 years.
2007 does seem a bit late for an album, but even though the show finished production in 2002 the repeats continued for around a decade. I have fond memories of watching it on Cbeebies and I remember it being shown as part of Cbeebies on BBC2 until my brother was about 2 and a half, he was born back in 2010. But it is bizarre that it took so long for this thing to be released here.
"The Brum Bum Wiggle" is the worst track on the album, the fact that it was also featured on a CBeebies compilation album really says it all as to just how bad that one is
That's it one more mile to go campaign anybody to have the BBC choose that to represent the United Kingdom in Switzerland next year and bring Eurovision home!
Your so funny and awesome handsome and cool hair Adam mate and I agree That album is annoying and watching the BRUM airplane video of yours love that one and the jokes are awesome and doing the Tweenies knife 🔪 and yeah we going to escape we going to flee to Panama 🇵🇦 to to aVOID Texas keep it down mate keep it down we not suppose to be in here there some one sat itreally to 2 ft away form us my joke from that episode
@AdamMartyn it still baffles me ragdoll made this Probably because they were not doing so well with their recent shows being failures or lasting 2 years
It's annoying that the BBC put this much effort into an album and yet 10 years of UK Eurovision Song Contest reps have performed WORSE songs! The HELL?
I’m in this video several times and had no idea this album existed!! I freakin LOVE IT!! can you upload the whole album as a video? Bet it would get a huge amount of viewage man
I’ll get the cast back together, get the old chap out of retirement and get you to direct videos to each of these songs, which we’ll all write together. Sound like a plan? Then let’s make shit happen
I was told brums last name is brummington - so his name is Brum Brummington.
Oh, man, I love “Brum Brum Gets Things Done”. Used to listen to it many times. Ahh, the memories.
So.... Where's Brum's Prog number? "Journey To The Edge Of The Roundabout"? "The Outer Headlight Of God"? "The Devil Is A Car Breaker"?
I actually think “The Brum Bum wiggle” was a mistake on the CD, It’s actually “The Brum Brum wiggle”
What a mistake to make ☠️😂
LMAO

This video was uploaded 33 years and a day since Brum first aired on Children's BBC.

Yes!! Definitely do that one next, Adam!
Did anyone else sing "Brum, Brum, kiss his bum" when the ending theme came on or was it just me and my sister
Edit: Wow, it only took the first few seconds of the second song for me to get slapped in the face with nostalgia
They aren't worried, as it pulls in the audience they want, a respectable but not thrilling audience rating per night.
XDDDD
@@JanTheAnimatorActualI really like ITV News at the moment, but I am not worried about them moving it around, as probably 95% of it's news audience don't care either.
As silly as the “he’ll be there” song is, I like how you used footage from the classic series to show the lyrics for it, suits it.
Fun fact: Brum Brum wiggle actually made it on CBeebies the official album back in 2002.

That album is a classic.
I remember kwning that album fondly
47 minutes?! For perspective, The Traveling Wilburys Vol.1 is only 36 minutes.
How dare they not call in the Albrum
i am shocked Come Outside does not have a album but brum does
Yeah, Mabel does sing a lot of songs at the beginning of some episodes and mostly towards the end of the episodes.
I would've loved to have seen an instrumental disc track of the chase theme from the official show. The build-up was always my favourite part.
Or, how about the victory tune? I'm loving how silly some of these musical tracks are. But a full OST of the show's orchestrated music would've been good.
I feel like "Brum doesnt speak, look at it, it's a car" is a little unfair considering all the other stuff Brum does.
This album does seem a bit late to be released but some of the music does seem far more like early 00's. Some of these do sound like they would have been better if they were actually used in a Brum episode, not released years later. When I heard Beep! If you think this is silly remember Peppa Pig released an Album!
You can tell the album was made way before 2007 because these are all the most early 00s songs I've ever heard
That cowboy impression at 14:41 was spot-on! :D
Core memory unlocked of listening to the CBeebies compilation album with brum brum wiggle on it!! 🎶 simpler times!
The "Yellow car, yellow car, he's gonna fix you!" following a line about "You've taken a wrong turn" - gave me the feeling of a vigilante Brum. You've made some bad life choices, and now Brum is after you.
I mean, he does chase bad guys in the 2000s series.
Ok. I'm too old for this, but you managed to make this amusing.👍
I loved brum the best kids tv song was bob the builder. Regarding brum the album. Also I feel the bbc or ragdoll needed some cash
fun fact: i owned brum the album as a child because i saw reruns of brum on cbeebies plus i was a big fan of brum when i was young (no joke)
also the wait was worth it :) great video

Some of these sound like the kinda shite you'd hear in Card Factory or B&M. 🕺
Got My Gears Turnin': TLC does Brum

On Popmaster you should've said to Ken Bruce that you were a Brum music fan!
Brum is one of my favourite childhood characters!
Giving Brum an album is like giving Mr. Bean one (they don't speak!)
Who's Drivin' (Brum) inspired by Ali G & Shaggy's Me Julie 😮
6:35 holy crap I still remember this episode followed by the train one as well
Wow, I never knew that little yellow car had his own music job.
Someone should build a life-size replica of Brun
Brum is the bad guy years later HE IS A GOD AMONG MEN
Gee, this is the first album review you have done in a while!
The comeback of Brum on this channel is gonna be cool.
What the heck did I just listen to? 😳😂
A modern masterpiece 👌✨️
That's it one more mile to go campaign anybody to have the BBC choose that to represent the United Kingdom in Switzerland next year and bring Eurovision home!
Except, it wouldn't follow the Eurovision rules because it was first published a long time ago
I am dying from this 😂😂😂
yes please (As A Joke)😀
20:49 What 🙀
Your so funny and awesome handsome and cool hair Adam mate and I agree That album is annoying and watching the BRUM airplane video of yours love that one and the jokes are awesome and doing the Tweenies knife 🔪 and yeah we going to escape we going to flee to Panama 🇵🇦 to to aVOID Texas keep it down mate keep it down we not suppose to be in here there some one sat itreally to 2 ft away form us my joke from that episode
The rest of the songs are actually are not from the show and are actually made for the CD
Yep, I address that head on!
@AdamMartyn it still baffles me ragdoll made this
Probably because they were not doing so well with their recent shows being failures or lasting 2 years
It's annoying that the BBC put this much effort into an album and yet 10 years of UK Eurovision Song Contest reps have performed WORSE songs! The HELL?
Im not even British but damn, at least I had the Doodlebops and The Wiggles LMAO
You think this is weird, clearly you’ve never heard Ian McShane’s LP.
I’m in this video several times and had no idea this album existed!! I freakin LOVE IT!! can you upload the whole album as a video? Bet it would get a huge amount of viewage man
only a certain amount of time until we get a peppa pig video... that show is a bit of a rabbit hole tbh 😅
I’ll get the cast back together, get the old chap out of retirement and get you to direct videos to each of these songs, which we’ll all write together.
Sound like a plan? Then let’s make shit happen
The Brum Brum Wiggle is still a classic.
It would be brilliant if we see more children's TV albums
Forget the production values can I just legally point out how did Brum get halfway onto that ice rink given that those tyres had no spikes for grip!
I still have this CD.
Only true chads keep Brum The Album in their CD collection 😎😂
It does feel like many rejected song ideas, repurposed in a Brum package.
If Brum announces a reboot then I think you should do a Brum channel😂
Oh god I ve just worked it out Brum Brave Car aka BBC now it makes sense!
What is that bandana on your head all about?! 🤷👎
This is strange. Extremely strange.
