That Vernon Family joint from The Lost Tapes 2 slapped hard AF too. Nas is my 2nd favorite of all time behind Rakim. Nas has been a victim of making probably the best debut album in history. Illmatic was so crazy that it was too hard to match, let alone top.
Hit boy and Nas is a clear example that a rappers career can go crazy when the producer fully understands what the artists wants, and didn’t know that they needed it. All the beats hit boy is tossing is making Nas spazz with energy man.
the whole album deserves a reaction. some of Nas' best work in years. this project will make any of his fans nostalgic. Hit Boy killing it with the production of course. a solid 8-9/10 album for me.
I loved this album, hit boy feeding Nas with some excellent production... and KD3 is coming soon too, i love what they doing. You need to react to The truth, the beat is crazy and Nas is going off.
That track had the best rapping on the album. My other favorites are Speechless, Wave Gods (ugh, that beat/sample and those Premo cuts), and Meet Joe Black.
Nas is like the OG a lot of young cats didn’t know we needed. Decades in the game and his shit is still hip hop and still raw as the new shit. Crazy thing is J.Cole turned my ear back to Nas once I found he was one of his greats.
@@JumbleBeeRescue so you’re the spokesperson for the whole younger generation? Even young cats still growing up on nas he is credited in gta 4 gta 5 and skate 2 just to name of the top of my head.

This album solidifies Nas as the greatest of all time and it's not even a contest anymore. For sure he's had his slumps but when he releases good albums, they are REALLY good. And tbh his so-called bad albums i.e Nastradamus and Nasir are better than 95% of the shit that's been released in the history of hip hop music.
