My 2017 has the 2.0 liter turbo. It's still plenty quick and is REALLY well balanced. I can take 20 mph curves at 70 without any tire squeal. You'd better know where you want to go with it before you steer it there, because it WILL do exactly what you tell it to. I also like the cruising range on a tank of fuel. Just normal highway driving I get about 35 mpg--which means I can go more than 600 miles on a tank of fuel. I don't even mind having to use premium. Camaros of this year all offered an 8-speed automatic, which I have to admit works really well, though I'd have preferred a manual.
I drove lots of rental cars in my life, because pre COVID I used to go on business Trips quite regularly and that line is absolutely true. From the second the „key is turned“ every rental gets a digital gas pedal which means either one or zero aka on or off. Hell I’d not buy a rental with only 20k miles on it for a 5th of its msrp. These engines are fucked after one or two years.
It is definitely a big adjustment from just about any other car. Once you get used to it and adjust your driving and safety habits, it feels totally badass as if you’re driving a Muscle tank 😂👋

It's a rental, and consider how some people abuse them. So instead of seeing potholes as something to be avoided, they're treated as more of a challenge.
Fastest cars in the world are rentals. Everyone knows that. And if everyone knows that, everyone knows what's to be known about that piece of knowledge.

Don't be a moron. No budget hatchback has 270 HP, like a base Camaro. You'd have to get in the 40 grand super hot hatch territory, like the Golf R, to get that kind of power.
Protector of the Republic not true, Honda Civics make that all day for under $10,000. In Europe we have seat cupra and skoda vrs which share 90% of parts with the golf. In fact a stock seat cupra for £1900 comes with 230bhp stock with plenty of cheap options to hit 300bhp for under £800. Hatchbacks are what most of the world drives! Especially in England, France, Italy and Japan. Each of these countries have produced some amazingly fast hatchbacks over the years.

*TL;DR: never purchase the rental company's insurance unless you enjoy handing them a 2000% profit.* When I was working for Enterprise/National/Alamo, our regional manager flat-out told us that the optional damage waiver (aka extra insurance) is a massive money-grab. The waiver costs the company about 10 cents per day, and 80 to 90% of car insurance carriers give you the exact same protection at no extra charge if you call to inform them that you're renting a car. Rental companies pay so little for the coverage due to a huge percentage of damage claims being covered the renter's insurance, even when the waiver is purchased.
Yep. Used to work for Budget. Same thing. My credit card covers it. They try desperately to say that it doesn’t or they won’t accept it but I show them my coverages and ask them to show their specific rules that say I “have” to buy their “optional” collision damage waiver. @rbeaton16 Great point. I still feel like it's no contender for a mid 70s Chrysler without a B pillar, an AMC Pacer or a 71-76 G.M. Full Sized Wagon though. Then again, I suppose that was without as many regulations.
I had one of these for a few days while my Subaru was being repaired, courtesy of the dealer, provided by Enterprise. They gave me a choice between this exact model of Camaro, or a Kia Soul (lol). Definitely the most fun I've had in a rental car. I think you treated this thing waaaaay too nicely in your review - Hold the "Trac" button (right next to the gear shifter) for 4 seconds to turn off ALL stability and traction control (you will hear a beep), and you are free to ROAST the tires off this thing. When launching from 0 MPH (not a brake stand), the throttle will not "drop the hammer" unless you ABSOLUTELY mash the pedal all the way to the floor immediately. If you ease onto the gas smoothly, or even just a split second later, it will not squeal. But if you treat the pedal extremely aggressively, you can definitely spin the tires all the way through 1st gear on dry asphalt. My guess is there is some electronic throttle/ECU fuckery that is programmed to only open throttle wide open if you make this "gesture" with the accelerator (kind of the like the "switch" underneath the gas pedal on some automatic cars that has to be depressed to get it to drop down). I had never driven a Camaro before in my life, and the V6 felt a lot stronger and responsive than I expected. It had a higher redline than I expected, and barely any power dropoff near it. To someone who's never used a modern V8 before, the NA V6 felt more than "adequate" for this car. Very "smooth" feeling power delivery (could be just new car/engine mounts) too, the 8-speed auto gearbox actually feels performance oriented, and the engine sound is... well, to me, it sounds great. I can't put my finger on it, but in the cabin it has a really nice "howl" that can only be compared to the induction noise from an inline-6 BMW motor. As a side note, the V6 has some sort of cylinder management "displacement on demand" feature that only activated ONCE during the 8+ total hours I was driving the car - otherwise, all 6 "reactor cores" were burning. Not having driven many FR/RWD coupes, let alone American ones, the ride and handling felt "heavy" to me, but in that sense makes the ride ever more enjoyable. I knew I was driving something that one might *might* call a Muscle Car. It rotates into turns the way I always imagined it should, with a lumbering, but determined turn in, and then the ever-present risk/temptation of stepping out the rear as you apply throttle mid-corner. Achieving a nice neutral or light over-steer in this takes some aggressive throttle, but once the rear breaks out, feels very controllable and just exciting enough. The steering wheel itself is small and sporty-looking, provides no real road feel or feedback at lower speeds, but is precise and "accurate" feeling. This car is the definition of "drive by wire" in a sports car - very weird and initially annoying to experienced drivers, but does allow the car to come alive in certain situations. It's outstanding engine is dampened, and the experience feels too refined to be described as a "muscle car," even with all driving aids turned off. It's actually more similar to the driving experience I would expect to get from a "luxury" sports car from a "European" manufacturer. I'm a driver who cares first and foremost about performance. Is this car fast? Yes. It's one of the fastest cars I've driven, for sure. It's performance and "fun factor" are severely limited by the electronic driver input and safety aids, and for that reason, it will push people like me toward older, or more racy models that don't have these dampers. But for a rental car, I don't think you can find anything more worthwhile in any stable. I'm not exactly sure why this car was offered by Enterprise, and I woulden't be surprised if it originates from a clever marketing strategy by Chevy themselves. Bottom line is, it's an imitation muscle car that serves as a gateway drug for modern American sports car technology. I would never own one, but it *DID* make me fall in love with RWD... and now everything is ruined, and I want to run home and trade my WRX in for a C5 Corvette. >:[
You do not need to switch to manual mode and back. If you hit a paddle while in normal drive it will go back to full auto on its own after about 20 seconds. It's if you want to quickly change gears for say an overtake and not worry about continuing to change gears
I have one similar (2016, turbo 4 cylinder, not the base model). Lemme give you some info on the car that you may have missed: 1) The 3.6L "LGX" V6 makes 335 hp and 284 lb-ft, redline is 7200 RPM (which you probably didn't take it to). It's at least one order of magnitude better than the Cyclone or Pentastar V6s of the competition. Even though it has direct injection, it only needs regular gas to make the advertised power. 2) The 8L45 8-speed automatic has too many gears to use the paddles or manual mode. When needed, it can shift from 8th gear to 2nd gear immediately, far faster than trying to shift it yourself. Pairing the V6 with the automatic gives the V6 cylinder deactivation, so it is possible to get up to 40 MPG on the highway. 3) When you use the paddles to engage manual mode, typically you hold the upshift paddle for about a second to return to auto mode. 4) Visibility is definitely worse than the Mustang (even the S550), you HAVE to set and use your mirrors properly to merge or change lanes. 5) That bezel on the radio is only because it's the smaller 7 inch display. It looks much nicer with the 8 inch display that is optional on the base and standard on every other trim. 6) That is very much a beaten-up rental car. I've had mine for 8 months and 7000 miles with zero issues.
I have to say, one thing Chevy got right on their new vehicles is the infotainment system. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are amazing, the interface on the touchscreen isn't cluttered or complicated, and most models have tactile buttons and knobs for only the important things you use regularly so you don't have to take your eyes off the road
Mr Regular reviewed 2 Challengers, 2 Mustangs (+1 by Roman), finally gets to a Camaro and we get THIS. No jokes, no cultural references, no memes. Cool idea with air vents though, gotta give Chevy that
Love how people used to rap on the rental Camaros you used to see, but now your getting a 335 Horsepower, rear wheel drive, amazing handling sports car as a fucking rental at pretty much any average rental car company. These cars have come a long way.
some guy on the bus next to me was watching this review and i remembered it right away from earlier, interrupted him, and we started talking about cars, best bus ride from college so far , thanks mr regular 😂
That off-centre steering wheel would do my head in in the first 5 seconds. I would have turned around after noticing it and told them to give me something else.
I didn't take out the extra insurance on a rental recently - scrubbed a painted alloy along a kerb = PROBLEM! Eventually decided to have the wheel professionally repainted just before I had to return the car. A very good decision. Saved me lots of money in the long run.
v6 Camaro with the dual mode performance exhaust on a standard is actually not a bad car, it's actually a hidden gem, for the price of a BRZ/FRS you get a much faster and just as sporty car. Beats the 2017 ecoboost mustang numbers currently too (though the 2018 ecoboost mustang numbers if correct should beat this car) apparently the standard tranny on this car and the high revving engine makes it real fun though and you get a solid 0-60 time in about 5 seconds. Probably save on insurance and gas too - the car is actually comparable in performance from 0-60 as the 2010 Mustang GT which runs 0-60 in 5.1-5.5. The V8 in any of these cars is the superior option, but they are priced so much higher now especially with the same package options. Look at the 2018 mustang GT, just the base version of the 2018 GT with the performance package is running at 50,000$ now, throw a performance package on a V6 and you are still well under 40,000$. The only V6's that suck right now are on the Mustang (being phased out for 2018) and the Challenger, the Camaro V6 however is actually a relevant option - in fact with the 2018 Eco-boost Mustang performance numbers (0-60 in under 5) and this V6 (0-60 in about 5) and the price options being so much lower, the package options, the additional aftermarket options, it makes justifying buying the GT a lot harder. The only shitty thing is the social stigma "oh it's NOT a V8" etc from people, which to many people is really worth the extra 10-15k, despite the fact the people saying those things drive around in civics and mini vans.
chevys LGX 3.6 V6 is a competitor to the 3.6 Pentistar V6 and fords/mazdas 3.7L Cyclone V6 the LGX makes 335HP/310HP (depends on application) the Pentistar makes 305 and the Cyclone makes 272HP/305HP depending on use
Not really a muscle car. I'd say more a Pony car. I own the 2015+ V6 Mustang in stick (bias disclosure) and it's a great deal. The Camaro handles better and is faster but it's like sitting in a fort, can't see shit. The early 2000 Mustang and Camaro V8s had this type of HP. These new entry level pony cars are not the BRZ/FRS. They have plenty of power and are good handling. Cheaper to insure and run than the V8. And they don't sound like vacuum cleaners like the turbo 4s. I reccomend them to anyone who wants to support the last few examples of an affordable sports car. Because it's a dying breed my friends.
i drove one and it's a blast... i was shocked to see it in the rental lot You really have to turn off ALL the electronic aids i think that's what a lot of people are overlooking here... or just get a manual, duh
you've answered your own question. When it's a rental, you don't have to worry about long-term maintenance or anything like that so why drive it gingerly? Maybe it's a little bit of a dick thing to do but it makes perfect sense logically.
The blind spots are terrible and it's quite dark inside from the small windows, but you get use to it quick and it even helps keep it cool during this scorching summer
I'm guessing the renter didn't list you as an allowable driver? When you rent, they get very specific about who is allowed to drive it. I think in CA, the state law is that the spouse is automatically allowed. Also, many times the base Camaro/Stang is same price or less than Mid Size rental, which are typically a couple dollars more than the economy small car rentals. Fun fact: there are tiers in the rental car company world. Tier One gets brand new cars, keeps them for 12-18 months, then replaces with new cars. Tier One companies (Hertz, Avis, etc) are usually more expensive. Those Tier One companies then OWN a Tier Two company. That company gets the 12-18 month old hand-me-downs, and drives them another 18 months. Tier Two companies can offer cheaper rates on "the same car", but the condition and mileage is not the same. After 3 years or so in the rental fleet, cars are taken to auction and picked up by local used car dealers. That 40k mile Camaro advertised at the used lot might have had a rough life!
I'm guessing the rental company had this car spec'd so that traction control is never fully defeatable. Because with 300hp+ and 245 width all season tires, this car should absolutely roast the rear tires when you mash the gas with traction control off.
splewy no, it's a lot harder to break the rear tires loose with the 2.77 open diff that you get with the auto. If it had the manual, which gets a 3.27 LSD, then yeah easy burnout. My 2.0T Camaro with the manual can break the tires loose.
its still in break in mode which limits power, my sisters turbo Buick didn't come alive till 5,000 miles , And torque converter transmissions actually doubles the torque because well torque converter jeez, Also limited slip dif makes it harder to do a burn out because it has to spin both wheels, a open dif only has to spin one wheel, thats why high hp cars come with a LSD to help them maintain traction.
Ever since Ford & GM put more powerful Sixes in the Mustang/Camaro the base cars are worth owning now. My old '06 Mustang vert had the lame 210hp 4 liter; the 3.7 was a huge improvement. Of course now the Ecoboost replaced it and it is more tunable, but with the right exhaust the Six just sounded better imho.
Apparently, the V6 with a manual is a _good_ sportscar. Not dangerously fast, but about as quick as a V8 model would have been 10 or fifteen years ago. Which is *fine*
The camaro has electronic power steering that automatically adjusts the position of the wheel based on long term "straight" driving. So for example is the freeway is slighty to the right the steering will slowly adjust to center even though it should be to the left. It will correct itself after driving normally.
Bullshit. The steering wheel is still mechanically linked to the rack; the electric motor is what reduces effort instead of a hydraulic system. It doesn't recenter the wheel. For fuck's sake...
I don't like the look of these new Camaros. Too fussy. It's both too complicated and bland at the same time. It's got way too many lines and creases, but there's no overall cohesive look to it. The lines aren't really doing anything aesthetically. Just ends up looking like a scrunched up ball of paper. The previous version was much better looking.
Man for people in America a v6 is slow...anywhere in Asia (from India)anything more than 4cylinders is mind blowing and NOT a rental car or family car. Even if it's an accord v6.
My dad once rented a Nissan Altima when our family went to San Francisco. It smelled like weed, and I called it "The Weed Mobile". I dug around the pockets on the front seats and I found a box of matches and a receipt from a gun store for a tazer and some ammo.
I rented that car and a turbo 4 mustang in vegas last year. You have pretty well nailed it. Horrible visibility, but handling/performance is amazing. Far better than the 'stang. But, you can actually see out of the mustang.
An easy fix for better reliability might be switching to the LV3 V6 from the GMC Sierra and using the same cam grind and bore and stroke as the LT1 V8 this would be good for about 341hp and since it would be cheaper than the 3.6 it could be the new base engine and they can just drop the 2.0T from the line up. This also would allow more parts in common on the assembly line saving on cost.
If you're getting the rental, get the convertible! Drove one up Pike's Peak...was pretty fun. There's no place to put anything in that car, even more so in a convertible because everything just wants to blow out of the car.
I have the v6 3.6. its has plenty of power, 300+ hp. This car is not slow. You want to know what a slow car is? Try driving a 4 cylinder form the 80's. Thats get out and push level of slow.
Not gonna lie. It doesn't sound half bad for a V6.
Respect where respect is due. Chevy did a good job on this one.
Huh, you're a RCR fan too. Awesome lol
Actually the 3.6 V6 in the Camaro is a pile of sh*t.
@@atx-cvpi_99 Care to elaborate as to why?

I really learned a lot about the ceiling of this Camaro.
That knuckle crack at 6:06 is epic
That seems like a really nice baseline car. You get a lot of performance for the price. Wouldn't mind having one just like that.
I live about 5 mins from where you were filming near Olive garden. I love your videos and also have to say that Camaro sounds wonderful!
FORESKIN REGENERATION
i used to own a 2013 v6 base camaro in manual and i actually miss it.
The 2017 Camaro V6: Pretty good.
theshonen8899 agree. If they made the car so you could see out of it I would say it's the best car available for the price. Solid chasis
theshonen8899 I see it good as a daily driver
I'd still have the Mustang if only because it doesn't look like Super Shredder from Secret of the Ooze.
Gargenville poetic imagery
WHoa whoa whoa.. Lets be honest here.. Super Shredder was pretty fucking bad ass looking! #IMHO
That alignment bugged me the WHOLE time
You do not need to switch to manual mode and back. If you hit a paddle while in normal drive it will go back to full auto on its own after about 20 seconds. It's if you want to quickly change gears for say an overtake and not worry about continuing to change gears
Nothing like a good and powerful quickie.
victorMD11 weak. V6 Camaro are weak.
Robertas S. Sounds like someone hasn't driven a V6 muscle car since the 80s...
Robertas S. it really isn't.
Camaro Mustang ?
Psycho Mantis? (You probably don't get that)
Death You like Castlevania, don't you?

I was watching old videos waiting for a new one and low and behold, here is one.
I have one similar (2016, turbo 4 cylinder, not the base model). Lemme give you some info on the car that you may have missed:
1) The 3.6L "LGX" V6 makes 335 hp and 284 lb-ft, redline is 7200 RPM (which you probably didn't take it to).

Cool idea with air vents though, gotta give Chevy that
Rental car. Lisa needs braces.

Let them have their tar tar sauce...
Quiet, you'll end up with a pencil in your buttcrack!
*BULLSEYE*
Ah, the rental Camaro.
The kind you'll do things to like taking it offroading :')
Call the RS the base model one more time...
Laughs in 1984 RS with the iron duke(dookie).
Okay, the RS is the base model. (Even though it isn't)
The base model is literally a 1LS. Not an RS
If it aint the SS who gives a fuck, it's not a Camaro at that point anyways.
RS stands for really slow.
Which Camaro is best Camaro?
The Seal Not this one
The Seal the one with an ACTUAL manual gearbox.
My camaro is best because it's due back at enterprise by 5 pm
Easy - ZL1
Which mopar is best mopar?
I had a rental v6 Camaro. I had no issues spinning tires and powersliding through corners.
The best sounding v6 imo🤷🏽♂️ never sleep on the new v6s
Irate Frogger Asian V6>American V6. A VQ37 shits on this while weighing a lot less.
Robertas S. No it doesn't
Irate Frogger try the jag f-type
That's not even fair, the F-type isn't NA. Got your back froggo bro
R K true, i'm sorry
That exhaust note was surprisingly good.
I just got off work, at the company that owns that car, and now I'm pissed because I'm watching this video and being reminded of WORK.
Love how people used to rap on the rental Camaros you used to see, but now your getting a 335 Horsepower, rear wheel drive, amazing handling sports car as a fucking rental at pretty much any average rental car company. These cars have come a long way.
Doesn't even knock the dirt loose from his shoes.....because rental.
some guy on the bus next to me was watching this review and i remembered it right away from earlier, interrupted him, and we started talking about cars, best bus ride from college so far , thanks mr regular 😂
Saved me lots of money in the long run.
it actually doesn't sound too bad
if you are in manual mode on d-mode; hold the right paddle for a few seconds then it will go back to auto
v6 Camaro with the dual mode performance exhaust on a standard is actually not a bad car, it's actually a hidden gem, for the price of a BRZ/FRS you get a much faster and just as sporty car.
I think the v6 6 Speed is great in my 2014 Mustang, and I've owned a 2014 GT 6 Speed as well, so I have a base of comparison
No curb too tall, no ditch too deep!
Don't be gentle, it's a rental
This might be my favorite video on this channel. I can relate so much, having spent a large part of my professional career renting cars.
V6 camaro when you want a fast muscle car on a budget
>Fast
Ahahahahah
>budget
It IS fast. 5.1s is very, VERY close to the 3.55 geared Mustang GT (4.8s)
chevys LGX 3.6 V6 is a competitor to the 3.6 Pentistar V6 and fords/mazdas 3.7L Cyclone V6 the LGX makes 335HP/310HP (depends on application) the Pentistar makes 305 and the Cyclone makes 272HP/305HP depending on use
Because it's a dying breed my friends.
i drove the v6 rs and really enjoyed it. i probably wouldn't buy one but it's a pretty good car for the money.
Why is that a rental? Its 330hp beast.. anyone dissing this car has insecurity issues..
i drove one and it's a blast... i was shocked to see it in the rental lot
You really have to turn off ALL the electronic aids i think that's what a lot of people are overlooking here... or just get a manual, duh
I rented one in the same color. I loved the fact you could use the vert while moving up to 30mph
why do people behave like this with rental cars? "not mine so trash it"
Andrei Laza Don't know why people only behave this way with rental cars. I drive my car hard all the time but I'm not stupid and I take care of it
Andrei Laza because it's not their's so they trash it
you've answered your own question. When it's a rental, you don't have to worry about long-term maintenance or anything like that so why drive it gingerly? Maybe it's a little bit of a dick thing to do but it makes perfect sense logically.
Andrei Laza Way I look at it is if you don't do it someone else will so might as well have fun
you answered your own question.
Pull the abs fuse, disables traction control and stability control and abs obviously and makes a rental more fun!
I'm guessing the rental company had this car spec'd so that traction control is never fully defeatable. Because with 300hp+ and 245 width all season tires, this car should absolutely roast the rear tires when you mash the gas with traction control off.
splewy maybe it's jus the stupid slush box sucking up the torque.
splewy no, it's a lot harder to break the rear tires loose with the 2.77 open diff that you get with the auto. If it had the manual, which gets a 3.27 LSD, then yeah easy burnout. My 2.0T Camaro with the manual can break the tires loose.
its still in break in mode which limits power, my sisters turbo Buick didn't come alive till 5,000 miles , And torque converter transmissions actually doubles the torque because well torque converter jeez, Also limited slip dif makes it harder to do a burn out because it has to spin both wheels, a open dif only has to spin one wheel, thats why high hp cars come with a LSD to help them maintain traction.
splewy pull the fuse, "always" off TCS haha
Is the rs only 245s? The 5th gen had 245 all seasons but the rs had 275 summers.
V6 Camaro does 0-60 in 5.1 which is Very Very quick and fast. Last gen V8 did 4.7 or so.
Just hold the up shift paddle for like 3 seconds and it should kick you back into auto
Yuri Tereshyn you're Yuri, where's Jacob, and are you going for a drive?
ya we are!
that finger snap was *crisp*
TFW the GM muscle car's infotainment system buttons look like a Chrysler emblem
Ever since Ford & GM put more powerful Sixes in the Mustang/Camaro the base cars are worth owning now. My old '06 Mustang vert had the lame 210hp 4 liter; the 3.7 was a huge improvement. Of course now the Ecoboost replaced it and it is more tunable, but with the right exhaust the Six just sounded better imho.
How the fork is dual exhaust unnecessary in your eyes for a longitudinal V6 engine? Wtf
Nothing parties like a rental.
Apparently, the V6 with a manual is a _good_ sportscar. Not dangerously fast, but about as quick as a V8 model would have been 10 or fifteen years ago.
Which is *fine*
I have one, pulls really hard in the upper rpm for what it is, much better car than my 15' automatic
Quicker than 4th gen. Probably.
Quicker than 5th gen V8? No
I've heard V8's that sound worse than this V6. Well done, GM.
Scrustle 80s Camaros are my favorite. 90s Camaros though, those are just horrible.
Scrustle everyone has their opinions.
+Nimble Mountain i thought the 80s Camaros went up to the 90s with the same body style.
Scrustle looks like a pissed off chicken nugget to me.
Scrustle it's for the simple minded who close sentences with words like "brah" and loves transformers
3.6l V6 with around 325ish horsepower. Not bad little cars.
2017 Camaro V6 - 335HP 280Ft-Lb
Remember when 300+ HP was something to be proud of? Now rental cars have it. *sigh*
Yardie Noh its 284 ft/lb
Woah i was way off wasn't I? A whopping 4 pound-feet... good catch.
Yardie Noh Ha Ha yeah I just couldn't let you get away with such an astronomical error like that😂😂😂.
I'll get the stake, you get the matches.
...remember when V8s made half this power with twice the weight...?...
You put soul into boring cars Mr. Regular. I love your work
Man for people in America a v6 is slow...anywhere in Asia (from India)anything more than 4cylinders is mind blowing and NOT a rental car or family car.
Nice car but that lack of rear visibility would drive me out of my mind (and probably cause a massive accident).
New for 2019: rear-view camera.
@@SteevK69 the SS had it since 2010
@@DashieTM Full time, or just when you're backing up?
I rented that car and a turbo 4 mustang in vegas last year. You have pretty well nailed it. Horrible visibility, but handling/performance is amazing. Far better than the 'stang. But, you can actually see out of the mustang.
The v6 option in that car eats timing chains. But gm doesn't want you to know that.
Jean-Paul Veillon previous gen 3.6
Not an issue if you change your oil at least every 5K, and mostly on the older ones.
Jean-Paul Veillon That was the previous generation v6, this is a totally new engine that doesn't have that problem
This also would allow more parts in common on the assembly line saving on cost.
the crack of his fingers towards the end was more delightful than i wouldve ever imagined
Was the exhaust note real?
RecklessFables yes
D.O.A. nope its real, I have a 2lt rs 16.
RecklessFables of course it is this new engine on the 6th gen is the real deal even for a v6
@ kiet phan, How nice it is, Been in one and loved every minute of it. was loaded.
D.O.A. The speakers do not make engine noise.
If you're getting the rental, get the convertible! Drove one up Pike's Peak...was pretty fun. There's no place to put anything in that car, even more so in a convertible because everything just wants to blow out of the car.
