Good morning 🌞 I made a neighbor grocery store also. It was fun remembering what I use to see in this little store. So I placed as many little things that came to mind. I love your tiny chocolate bars. Thank you and have a awesome Sunday 💐

I love your things to go into your general store.
And I'm guessing the handles are long like that because they would have been used in a fireplace for cooking. 😊❤

The baskets could possibly go on a tall pole (handle over the pole). Maybe some brooms & and brushes too? Ooh one of those tinkling bells (with a coil) on the door? Look forwards to seeing your store. New subbie here😃

Great Content! I made a thrift store myself, I think that when there is not a lot of one kind of item, a thrift store gives you the option to display everything in a store, love all your miniatures.

I like that idea. It has limitless potential for every kind of mini. ❤️

I think the long handle dipper is a ladle for a water bucket.. my grandma had one in her bucket to use when we pulled water from her well..

I think the Great Dane is such a beautiful breed! Maybe his name could be "Bo" or "Duke". Cat's name, "Peaches" or "Doc"? You have quite a bunch of cool stuff! That'd be my fav part- stocking and making the accessories! Fun vid, thank you.

Very nice project, you have a good amout of merchandise already. Years ago I purchased a 1970’s kit of a general store and a complementary kit to fill the shelves, but they will have to wait a little longer to be assembled. I’ll be following your progress with interest.

The wire basket and the hollow Coca Cola thingie strike me as being modern. I dont think those wire baskets appeared until around the 1970s and the Coke one looks just altogether too modern for the period. Love the shop though and you have a wonderful collection and doubtless I will be watching more now I found you.

Thanks for the heads up on the basket and cola. I did feel the cola belongs in a wooden crate as well. That will now be added to the list. There are a lot of items I still want to add, but there isn’t much room to do it. I’m glad you found me too. 😊

How about Magnus or Oscar for the Great Dane, they are both popular Danish names. Look forward to seeing you stock the shop. You could start with making multiply copies of the minis you already have. That is, more bolts of fabric, more flour sacks and so on, the rest will come to you one way or another.😊

Maybe a jar of pickles, rug beaters, box of cigars. Maybe leather goods, pelts etc.

Cute! I'm planning a corner store in Victorian England. How about some jars of hard candies for the kiddies and bottles of quack medicines? And obviously sacks of flour and potatoes and cornmeal. Oh, and wooden toys. Stocking a little store is so much fun!
