Nice to try to keep things original, but sometimes it's just not feasible and you do what you have to do.

I've been in your shoes and started with 2 small gas tractors. Then thought I was adding more power when going to a gas 706 and 756. I ended up selling both of those off and getting a 986 diesel. Later on i've added a 1586 and 1486 a years went on. When it comes to tillage work the gas tractors will just overheat and you will be chasing issues that will never be solvable. Being that your farming more ground you will be money ahead in fuel savings to switch to all diesel. I've replaced new fuel lines like your attempting to do and I've always had to flair the end or have the ferall on the end.

He has another 706 that he put a d436 diesel in. I’m assuming that he still has it.

Don't worry about a lack of content. I appreciate you just being able to be back. Im a Millennial too and we generally piss and moan just because the average numbers to live by are out of wack, but we just keep rolling on, not much else but to keep on pushing forward. When I first saw your copper stand off, i thought oh they just made it as an option but then you had to do that and fix the part 😄 closer to original. As far as the flexible line, sometimes a guy just has to do something to get the equipment back in the race. Who knows, maybe you'll come across a better option, but at least it's running.
Thanks for the video and looking forward to any future content but don't feel compelled, there's more important things in life than TH-cam fans 😃.
Question: Do you do OR plan to do any sub soiling or chisel plowing in the future?
I only ask since disking can end up causing a hardpan, but there are a lot of variables.

I do own a chisel. 13 shank IH 55. Big tractor will have to be fixed for that lol.

Just had to rebuild the carb on my 706 because some crud must have gone through my bowl. Thanks for the video.

Shawn is the ground get close for you to get in the fields for tillage or planting. Here in Central Ohio the temperatures have slowed corn going in the ground
