I do this once a week now - I go to a coffee shop or a bakery and take a good book! And I go on solo travel trips too, 3 nights all inclusive somewhere a few hours' flight away. Highly recommend.
I recently went on a solo date on stand-up comedy show in my town and i didn't really like it and was kinda down about the night.. but then i thought "nobody could predict and know for sure how it's went and it's okay that i didn't like it. You are by yourself and you can get yourself anywhere or do anything that will make you feel better about this evening." AND THEN i realized how cool it is to go on solo dates. so went to my favorite mall, brought some healthy foods, went a good walk all by myself in the night. I felt honestly amazing and saved my own night!! Next week i am going on a art museum date and the week after that i am going to theater!! Wish everyone fulfilling and inspiring solo dates!!
I usually take myself to dinner at a restaurant. I also do movies & buy myself flowers occasionally. I find that on weekdays cooking myself a nice dinner, having a glass of wine, & watching a good show also gives good “me time”. Waking up a few hours before work, sipping tea, lighting a candle, and mapping out my day also makes me feel good! Im 24 and in school so I’m trying to find that work/life balance. I want to work on my night self care routine next. So far 2022 has been great! great video 💞
I would like to add a few...a day at home watching romantic comedies (or any lighthearted, feminine genre), visit your local arboretum/ botanical gardens, visit a zoo or aquarium, go on a dolphin tour or a sunset dinner cruise...and if you aren't near the water just find a nice way to connect with nature in your area. It's so spiritual, gratifying and healing 💕
These are great suggestions. I started the practice of buying myself flowers during the pandemic and it changed the energy of my home. I also feel that because this became a standard for myself - most of the guys that interacted with me rose to this standard.
Interesting people do treat base on how you treat yourself I once put a little toy on desk due to having happy meal for lunch and during the next few days people seem to want to give me little things to decorate my desk LOL. As working at one place a boy decides to put a cup with some change Infront of his registers that guy started getting tips

Be careful when you go on a hike in nature. Make sure you have something to defend yourself with and plenty of water, an old fashioned compass, a small flashlight, a knife, a sturdy walking stick, some snacks, etc. Wear a backpack. Where I live we have mountain lions and other wild animals, and it gets very hot and humid going up. Also, there are random people who cross the path, some of them men. If you have a dog, also good to take th dog. You can also get a full body massage in your own home, there are certified massage therapists that drive to you and bring their equipment. It's awesome. Nice advice all of it, but I have been dating myself for a while, would sure be nice to date someone else that is worth it. I miss the old days when dating was actually fun and sometimes they would bring flowers o a small gift, like a book or some chocolates, and we would do stuff that was enjoyable without pressure for sex or anything else. Also, the men were respectful gentlemen and would open doors and pull up chairs for you.

My solo trips were some of the best trips of my life! I'm married now but still take small solo trips to places my husband doesn't care about but I do.
I’m 40+ and have been traveling solo for years. It’s truly the best time for all the reasons you listed and more. I often end up meeting other solo traveling ladies or group of ladies and we end up grabbing lunch, dinner or an excursion together. I promise you’ll love it. My boyfriend is a rather busy man. He tries his best to spend time with me but due to his schedule just being tighter than mine and not having a lot of friends after relocating I never had anyone to do many things that I want to try. For me it’s mostly exploring nature or trying out new places to eat at. I always waited for my boyfriend to have enough spare time for that. But you know what? I don’t care anymore after this video. I decided today that next week I will finally hike to two places I have wanted to go all summer long. One is a waterfall and the other is a flower garden on the mountain that showcases different flowers from mountainous regions all around the world. I am indeed very excited to see these places. :)

My boyfriend is a rather busy man. He tries his best to spend time with me but due to his schedule just being tighter than mine and not having a lot of friends after relocating I never had anyone to do many things that I want to try. For me it’s mostly exploring nature or trying out new places to eat at. I always waited for my boyfriend to have enough spare time for that. But you know what? I don’t care anymore after this video. I decided today that next week I will finally hike to two places I have wanted to go all summer long. One is a waterfall and the other is a flower garden on the mountain that showcases different flowers from mountainous regions all around the world. I am indeed very excited to see these places. :)
