The idea of the two factions waring with EACH OTHER is such a good idea and matches the themes of the tabletop I’m now shocked that wasn’t used more often like you said.
Yeah this was pretty much what I felt about the game. I will say it's very funny of them to include part of the actual honest to god plotline of a deathwatch module as part of the campaign (planet swarmed with Tyranids has a Magos with important data crash land on it, you are sent in to retrieve either the data or the magos) but I remain disappointed they didn't lift any of the finer points from later Deathwatch Modules like the Alpha Legion being the secret 'Chaos Twist' villain.
A large part of the problem with thousand sons not having enough enemy variety is that even on the tabletop Thousand Sons just don’t have many minis. It sucks.
The one thing that feels like such a missed oppurtunity is there’s only 6 co-op missions. And you have a 12 chapter 3 player co-op campaign with no multiplayer progression. I don’t care if the mission would be missing their banter or we’d have to hear lines out of character. It would’ve been nice after beating the campaign to have had the option to play through the campaign in operations as our customized space marines. (Also the fact that in the last co-op mission you don’t board the ship and have to defend the helm while guiding it for that crash attack as a end of story sacrifice and instead just turn it on and watch it go felt like a missed opportunity)
17:36 don’t know if it’s worth mentioning since it must say something about the games design if that was the only time you noticed it but, most of the co-op missions have randomization like that (for example the first mission, when you’re defending the reactor the defend areas are random and you even have a chance at 1 of 2 interact objectives)
My opinion can be summarized with "I would have preferred 1 great game over 3 decent ones". Also, I realized that I dislike the grind progression that it has. Lower difficulties are boring, even with low level gear and high difficulty demands it. It feels like a roguelite where the game first asks me to spend 50 hours before I am even allowed to play properly.
This game has nice music, sometimes I just leave it running in the background, while painting or whatever. But Jesper Kyd with his Darktide bangers is like Belisarius Cawl to ordinary tech priest. Only disappointing thing about Darktide OST is - it doesn't make you horny for toasters unlike Mechanicus soundtrack ; )
No sorry, I will take the Space Marine 2 armor restore system vs Space Marine 1 health regain system. It's simply a more elegant system because I want to do the Cool Thing and lack of i-frames in the first game sucks.
if you head over to my discord right now, there's a poll for what my next video should be about!

2:07 Minor spelling mistake detected, in the subtitles. Not “Thousand Suns”, it’s Thousand Sons.
The executions in this game make the Doom Slayer look like he was just playing around.
Well in Doom Eternal he really is just playing around with the demons.
The one in Doom 2016 were much more brutal and visceral, pure rage.

21:50 I'm not excusing that but it wouldn't be a Space Marine game if the second act villains didn’t screw the pacing by being less fun to fight
FIRST! Outside of Cassius themselves, of course. And Space Marine 2??? Just in time for breakfast? Excellent. Enjoy your engagement, creator.

13:10 Cortex Command reference, credentials verified, based status confirmed.
I feel like they didn't pick nurgle solely because darktide is using them

was thinking about buying this a week or so ago. the only version on the playstation store was £90. not a chance in hell
You said that you would like darksouls with multiplayer and guns, I suggest remnant from the ashes or remnant 2. Great games
what is the name of the music in the first minute
disposal unit from darktide's ost
Peak has come to.
the biggest problem about the game is the story being anti admech propaganda
what? no im not biased towards admech at all, why do you ask?
