@@waholoopesorry74longevity, consistency, mindset. he has more slams because he's been active for a longer period of time, in longstanding rallies between them federer is statistically more likely to make an unforced error, and you can see federer choke in various important moments throughout his career. i can say that i believe prime federer was better than prime djokovic, but djokovic's career is more successful and fruitful in legacy.

He is on par with him on consistency as well, he was in the top 2 even when he was over 30 and he was the only player that had multiple wins against prime Djokovic in 2015, even though he was over 30. He was also one of the fastest players on tour and had one of the best backhands at least in terms of variety and shotmaking, even though those two parts of his game are often overshadowed by his forehand and attacking proficiency. Still, Djokovic had a more successful career in terms of titles, but who had the better competition and who was the best in his prime, is still debatable in my opinion. He was able to rejuvenate his career by changing his racket in 2014 and putting even more aggressive playstyle than in the past years. But as i said he was the shadow of himself in terms of defending.

2011-12 is not federers prime simply because the courts were very slow by then as it is today and fed wouldnt switch to a larger racquet till 2017
