I’m thankful to have found a Copilot review video that isn’t sponsored and actually goes through uses with the app while presenting with the user interface. Very much appreciated. This was very helpful.
It’s because every app that has to do with business tends to always have paid referral program. So every TH-camr is just out for the quick bucks and doesn’t ever give honest reviews or in depth reviews with quality content.
@mattc16 I’ve only been offered one sponsorship by a fintech app and turned it down. All I’ve gotten is a few free months of using Copilot from people using my link, which isn’t worth much (but I am grateful nonetheless). But I get your point that a lot of TH-camrs try to shill financial products for personal gain. Not me though. Honestly, the only fintech app I’d currently do a sponsored deal with is Copilot simply because I’m a huge fan and long term user of the product.
When people say sponsored much of the time it includes a referral bonus. Nothing wrong with that and he is no exception. With small time apps like copilot I highly doubt they are actively looking for people to send paychecks to.
This was immensely helpful! I had a trial for YNAB and it just ran out-unfortunately I've been super busy so I've only had a few days to set up my initial budget categories... Revisiting budgeting tools and came across Copilot. I really liked the idea of the zero-based budgeting that YNAB focuses on, I did read on reddit that it wasn't initially a priority for Copilot, but looks like their Dev / Product team is responsive with requests based on a quick glance of their subreddit. I too was wondering if they have sinking funds (saving for a particular goals)-mint has this too, but IIRC the limitation I remember was that you can't use an account for more than one goal. It'd be cool to see if there's support for goals to be aggregated / grouped to their respective accounts for funding. I'm excited to see how the NLP helps with categorization because reconciling transactions in YNAB, just like mint is time-consuming even though it tries to get the category on its own. Cheers.
Glad you enjoyed. There is a page in the app that shows all the upcoming features being worked on so I think everything you mentioned is indeed planned for the future if not already implemented. As for categorizing transactions, this is where copilot really shines. It’s so easy, it gets them right quite often, and even when they’re wrong you just click the categorization and all your other categories pop up - then you just select the right one. The UI makes it very intuitive and easy.
How do you tag or categorize a transaction when it’s for example a Target purchase consisting of clothing and part groceries. For the purpose of budgeting in Copilot
Good news!! Check out my latest video on this app. They have an Android version planned to release sometime in 2024! And I think maybe Windows too but honestly I only use it on my phone.
Very infrequently. Certain institutions make you verify more often like PNC is monthly or so but other accounts I’ve only verified a few times and I’ve been using copilot for 3+ years.
I don’t disagree, but by having an accurate overview of all your money, you make decisions differently. It only takes one purchase change to more than make up for the cost, and then some. Compound that over a year and I definitely find it worthwhile.
@moneymayhem2000 no…at the time of recording I believe there were plans but now I am not sure, just checked in the app and don’t see this as something currently being worked on.
@@AlekseyG there are no use case videos out there, only app review videos. If you really love and use the app it would be great to see content on how to use it better and ways to work around its limitations.

Thanks! Stay tuned, I have an updated video on copilot dropping next week!

Code still works👍👍 Thanks Aleksey
This sold me with your authenticity, thanks man
Great Review! Appreciate the in depth look 😁
I just downloaded. I wish I could see a dashboard on windows. I use Ynab right now but i hope this feels better
Hello, what do you mean by dashboard? Could you elaborate?
Excellent video, thank you!!👍
This was a great review. I used your referral code. thanks.
Thank you! I know you’ll enjoy Copilot. After a week or two it will be second nature.

You can split transactions and then categorize them differently.
I H A T E that this app isn't available for windows and android, like seriously wtf
Good news!! Check out my latest video on this app. They have an Android version planned to release sometime in 2024! And I think maybe Windows too but honestly I only use it on my phone.
its only available for Apple 👎
They will be releasing android and windows versions VERY soon 😉

$95 billed yearly, expensive

Sucks there's not web version
There is a version for Mac that you can download from their website. They are developing a version for Windows (and Android) currently.
@@AlekseyG Yeah but you can't see it without buying it.
Thank you.
You already try Monarch?
No I haven’t, honestly didn’t know about it. Just looked it up and it seems like a great product.
Is there a release for Android yet?
Not yet, but it is planned to be released as a native android app sometime in 2024!
Still no android support as of 09/27/2023 :(
Yeah, honestly I wouldn’t switch to Android as long as Copilot is iOS only 😂
@@AlekseyG you couldn't pay me enough to use crapple
@alekseyg I couldn't find any info on an android version, are you sure ones coming?
@moneymayhem2000 no…at the time of recording I believe there were plans but now I am not sure, just checked in the app and don’t see this as something currently being worked on.
As of 12/17/23 Copilot stated in a roadmap video that a web app as well as android support is coming in 2024!
DOES IT WORK ON iMAC, iPad or just cell? I don't want to see all this stuff on a little screen...
Yes, it works on all of those. All under one subscription 😊
"My Most Used App Ever", and only one generic app review video.
Um…yeah…”App” is singular. So one app…

@paweb. What are the limitations?
