My younger sister along with my mom kept me out of our family trust as soon as my dad died they decided without him. My sister has always been my mom’s favorite and she was always my little princess but something changed when she knew she was the only inheritance. She’s married and has her own place yet I have nowhere to go but our family home. She talks down to me belittles me and never calls me to see how I’m doing knowing I’m my mom’s caregiver by choice. She talks to me like I’m her employee. I asked my mom why she doesn’t treat me the same and she said she just doesn’t feel that way for me. I think it’s because my sister went on to graduate college, travel and marry and I have not accomplished any of those things 😢. I know that my sister was jealous of me years ago. Before our mom passed, me and my mom were very close, I mean very close. When my mom layed transitioning, my sister said to me, "you know she may not make it, what'cha gonna do now?" Went through a dark period in my life and needed much help. She refused and helped a mutual family friend, twice and it hurt me to my core. I tend to separate myself from crowds and people in general because it's just not where I belong. I've always felt this way. I said that to say, we were at an event at her house and there were lots of people attending. Something went missing in her home and the first person she called was me to accuse me of stealing out of her home. I was devastated! The item she accused me of stealing was less than $3.00. I still love her, but handle her with a long handled spoon. I don't go over to her home and if I do, I go in and go out.
