I have 2 Rado watches. One st. Steel bought in 1978 from Dubai, and the other one golden colour bought from Oman in 1990s. Both are original 1978 model is very attractive, heavyband even now running without any error, slow or fast. The other one also good but repaired for some defects. Anyway RADO, old models and old ones are, realy old is gold.
I’m interested in buying a Rado Diastar Automatic watch for my father. Can you please suggest how long does the watch reserve the power if it is unworn for some days. As my dad already got a seiko automatic but it looses time if it is left unworn for a day or two. So he has to keep wearing his watch for long hours daily.
Thanks for the review. It's hard to find reviews on the quartz version of Diastar. How many years the battery will be working? Is it difficult to open the caseback and replace the battery?
Brother, I have purchased it after watching this video. I visited the Swatch Group Service Center to resize my watch. They have resized it, but they have removed the black sticker with QR code which is located behind the dial. Is it concerning/Worrying ?

Battery life is officially 3years , and it is easy to open case, but i suggest get it done by a professional
