I received this watch as a wedding anniversary gift. At first , I thought it was a tad gaudy - but to make my wife happy, I wore it basically everyday to work and other places. Fast forward a month, I've gained more compliments on this watch when wearing this everyday in public than I ever have on any other watches in my 13-strong collection (Tudor, Mido, Hamilton, Certina, Tissot, Seiko, Citizen, Bulova, etc.) It astounds me how many people notice this watch because of the unique DiaStar pattern, skeletonized body, and prism crystal face that shines and reflects. It REALLY stands out. The only other watch that comes close to standing out like this is my Hamilton Ventura but I never got the kind of chatter this piece seems to bring about in non-watch hobbyists. The watch has grown on me and is now my favorite watch in my collection....yes, beating out my Tudor Black Bay 58....
I got mine eight years ago, and it is just like a brand-new watch! It never gets rusted or scratched, which I think is pretty amazing! I always remind myself in hard times to be like Rado strong and never get rusted or scratched by bad people.
This is an amazing watch . I have a diaStar from my Grandad and it’s almost 40 years old .. I really like the take on this one as it feels like a polish titanium watch and the have really done a good job with the skeleton movement as you can also see the almost everything in that watch
As a rule, I don’t like Rados. I started the video sticking to my rule but, as it went on, I couldn’t help but appreciate the modernist styling. And that crystal! It definitely doesn’t look like anything else. Has to go in the “considering” pile. And a beautifully shot piece, as always.
Great video! I’m readying myself for my next watch purchase and torn between this RADO and Longines Hydroconquest Khaki green as both are in the same price range. As you have reviewed both, which you think is better value between the two?
It is. I've got the DiaStar Original with Ceramos. It's highly scratch proof...haven't been able to scratch it! Its way more scratch resistant than steel.
Its scratch resistant and has a running reserve of 70 hours, and is waterproof so u can swimm with it(i was told) I got it yesterday and got already compliments haha
Beautiful, but It's small...! and it's says unisex, i don't like small watches, paying that much i should get something that can be seen from 10 meters not 2 meters
Lol just go get an Invicta if you like big sized attention grabbers , it's a master piece to put this beauty into this size , who cares if it's Unisex .
Just like all Watch brands if you wan't a better in house movement you have to pay double the price , i am not sure if Rado has it's own in house movements , but the point is Rado is all about materials , design and quality , ETA movements are reliable , when i buy a Rado and i have one , i don't care about the Movement it has no priority , it will be good enough anyway.

Looks great. Question, does it have a screw-down crown?
Yes it does @@tonyl7000
Love, love this watch.
Bold, brave uniqueness.
Which one you owns? Gold or silver?
@@sajidmohammed8539 wish I owned one. Both are great….really like the silver.
Absolutely stunning. I bought one of the new Diastar Originals recently (the recent 2022 releases) and this one is seriously tempting. Love it.

Recibí el mío hoy. Recuerdo hace 35 años cuando mi papá compró el suyo. Para mí, tradición. Feliz con la compra.
Loved it!!! It modernizes the rado DNA with stunning textures and colours. Now I know what I want for Xmas 🥰
Very interesting. That facetted crystal is very funky....love it.
With a Rado on you don't really need any other accessories it's the center piece ❤
Best comment!
I'm planning to get this watch. Looks absolutely beautiful. Really resonates with me. Will comment again after I've bought it.
Did you get it?
this watch is definitely out there, but somehow I'm drawn to it

Yessss I love it when all the pieces fall into place. And I could not agree more. Wow that freaking crystal. Just bonkers
How can you not like Rado , they are in top 20 of quality swiss watches .
se me salen los ojos de lo bello que es. Bravo RADO !
Master of Materials, a perfect innovation and technology from other brands 👍
Just got one and is nothing short of amazing!!! 😁👍
The peculiar distinction of being best Diastar yet.
does this watch wear or look smaller than its dimensions say? i usually only wear a 39.5mm + I'd love this in a 39 to 40mm
Hollyshit...when that light hit the sapphire 😮😅

Same doubt
The Rado! Cause it is more special and individualistic. Woulld also like to have it! Maybe one day ...
this is a retro futuristic watch, an oxymoron, what a watch!
that look nice actually.
Will it be a good idea to wear it on a rubber strap or Nato?
Love it! This so interesting
Is this available in saudi arabia
Absolutely awesome! Is the case material still scratch resistant?
I was wondering the same

WOW
I like it
Confused with this one and Versace V legend skeleton
Go for Rado
Go for Rado
This watch would have been so much better without logos ...
I like it like it is- got it yesterday- getting many compliments! :D
The Rado brand name holds a lot of cache in many parts of the world... so it makes sense to include it.
Price plz bro
1950 swiss francs which is like 2291 dollars could be more or less depends on your location , taxes and availability
Pm price sir
Like an old girl friend beautiful but too big. Us with wrists like sticks it would not work. But very nice watch.
38 mm too small, too bad was going to buy it if it was 44 mm
whoa are you big foot

I am. Buying. Guide. Me
Powermatic 80? What a rip-off. The Tissot Gentleman automatic has better movement than this.
May i know is it bad or generic movement?
