The Rado Diastar was an exceptional design when it was introduced in 1962. The design was updated in 1971 with the angular Diastar 14.

The design of the Diastar is so iconic they haven't needed to change it in 60 years. I don't understand why some people don't like it. Oh well, their loss!

The Rado Diostar is still popular in Thailand. I saw it for sale at several dapartment stores in Bangkok. And on the wrist of one of the salesmen working at a department store.

I have seen them at Duty Free shops but I think their glory days are gone. They were insanely popular in the 70s and the 80s, which I suspect has to do with their interesting designs and relative affordability compared to other Swiss brands.

It varies. The fake ones on eBay can be in the 200-300 range and the real ones are much more as it's a rare watch.

Did you mean how to order? Rado still sells thge 'original diastar' so you can order that from any Authorized Dealer. Be careful as there lots of fakes with Rado watches in Asia.
