FZ1 Video Tutorial - Brakes Part One

This is part one of Installing Braided Steel Brakes Lines, New Pads, New Fluid and Bleeding the entire brake system on my 2007 Yamaha FZ1. This video details the removal of the stock front brake lines and installation of new ones and the removal, cleaning and installation of both front calipers with new brake pads.

This looks like a great tutorial, but I think a very important step was overlooked. It is also important to clean the pistons. A lot of break dust can build up around them and reduce performance. They are very easy to clean with the calipers off.

Always use gloves and use recommended grease on the rear of the pads

Hi I have Fz1 my abs doesn't work while riding can u please figure out let me tell you about my abs when I bridge to the abs coupler it's start to show multiple errors on meter n abs lights flashes can feel pulsing in both lever but not with that much force.
Secondly when I run my bike on center stand abs light start blinking means it is working but actually it doesn't work :-(

What do you use for a stand for the bike to sit on?

I use the center stand and then a stack of wood blocks under the headers to lift the front.
