I was gifted this 100-Year Old Welding Table from an artist in San Francisco who told me she had it for 35 years and had purchased it from a tradesman who had it in his family for several generations. I enjoy working with metal and really wanted to make this old rusty table into something special.
I drilled forty 5/8ths holes in the 1-inch plate for table fixtures and homemade clamps. The adjustable slide extension will allow me to secure longer material and can be moved to either side. The table weighs over 300 pounds and is 39-inches off the ground; the wheels are a huge upgrade for moving it around the shop.
I'm super excited to start building the Sprinter Van aluminum cabinet frames on this table. It's going to work perfect for the job!

Thanks John! The Thomas the Tank Engine analogy really clarifies our age group and what our boys were watching at the time. I did get a Gumby comparison but I'm not claiming that or Mr. Ed!

From the thumb nail image on the video I thought 💭 you turned it into a bar with 6 beer 🍺 taps. Guess I was thirsty, this turned out much better and more useful.
