Guys the woman in the water giving birth was pregnant with baby Gulpers (like that one who ate Lucy's boot and the dog owner's head in episode 3 or 4). The baby Gulpers were eating her while she was alive.
The Ghoul's wife was reffering to getting them into a special vault for management. Every overseer in vault 33 and 32 has been from vault 31 so they might be reffering to she getting them a spot in vault 31 or some other one like it. And yes the gulper does have human fingers as teeth , and it was displayed as a specimen at level 12. So one could think that the gulper is actually a creature created in this vault. The woman giving birth to the gulpers was on the movie being played. So one could theorize that this vault is splicing and mixing DNA, creating abominations and letting them go to the surface. Maybe to further make it more inhospitable at the surface so more "test subjects" end up in their vault seeking refuge.
"The Good Vaults". Consider: BEFORE the war, VaultTec built a Vault with a trap in a hospital that knocks people out and puts them in a room labelled Test Subjects. They already knew how they planned to get test subjects after the war.

Just to play devil's advocate, global lead production is ~4,500,000 tons per year. Even for 30+ vaults, a shortage of lead seems unlikely (if we assume similar mining capacity in the Fallout world before the war vs IRL production). That's enough lead per year to cover 4.5 million sqft 3 feet thick. The scene between Cooper and Charlie in the bar is my personal favorite scene in the whole show. It's a single conversation, and yet it's so enthralling and perfectly encapsulates exactly how dangerous Vault-Tec really was and how involved they were with the war. There's even something a little meta about that scene. Given the state of our world right now, Charlie's metaphor of the cattle ranchers being in charge feels all too real.
In regards to the "good vaults" comment: In the games, the vaults were built to secretly run experiments on its inhabitants (this is no secret to game players). In order to experiment, however, they had to define "normal" behavior for people living for decades inside them, so they also established "Control" vaults, where no experiments were conducted. 14:15 I can’t help but feel like the wife sounds so selfish right here. “While you were at war, I stayed home.” Like girl, you got to stay home and watch tv, listen to the radio, you had freedom to do whatever you wanted. Wilzig to Lucy: " But will you still want the same things, once you have become a different animal altogether?" She is changing. yes. Most all will be revealed leaving some for season 2. Love this show and your analysis. Great job guys, even if you occasionally guess wrong!
For a good villain film, Goggins was the highlight by far in American Ultra. Damn right scary. Oh and What we do in the shadows series......then youll understand the cameo in this one! "TUSCON ARIZONA"!!
I think it’s interesting that the Overseer calls Lucy “Goosey” a bird. “Birdie” is probably also a nickname... I wonder what her real name is? And I wonder why he always chooses avian nicknames..? 🤔
It’s crazy rewatching this knowing how much they manage to cram in to the last 2 episodes. Imo every episode outdoes the previous episode all the way from 1-8. Can’t wait to see your reactions to the next 2.
4:00 no dudes that's a thing.. My grandfather was a director and he had all the movies he ever did plastered on the walls. It's just a hollywood thing you do when you are proud of your accomplishments. Got nothing to do with being self centered.
"Cheap vaults." Nah. That's not what she meant. Here's where knowledge from the games comes in handy. When she says "good" vaults she means.... well... let's not spoil the surprise. All you need to know is that the vaults aren't what you think they are. ;-) Fusion cores in the Fallout universe are like standard batteries. They create ridiculous amounts of power and are all a standard size. Can be swapped between devices without issues. When Lucy enters the schoolroom and she sees the NCR flag, the music that plays in the background is the Fallout game theme song. Was such a joy hearing it on the show. With the Moldaver reveal I kinda wonder why you guys didn't react to the fact that she's still alive considering it's been over 200 years since the bombs dropped. Something to think about, and it ties into one of the mysteries of the season. ** It's only natural you guys believe they're doing genetic experiments in Vault 4. That's not it, though. Again, no spoilers, but the vaults aren't what you think they are. Once you understand their true purpose you'll see that a lot of concepts you might've had will be thrown out the window. And no, it has nothing to do with the amount of lead. In terms of Vault 4 let me just give you a hint. Why would a vault need a trap door to bring people from the surface down to them? Doesn't that seem odd? ;-) ** Ah, I see Answer brought it up. Yes, Moldaver is still alive despite she being from before the bombs. She's not a ghoul, so there's another story there.
My jaw just dropped....i had no idea until now that moldaver was alive before the bombs🤯🤯🤯.... I completely missed it... they mightve missed it too Edit: Omg!!!!! Is moldaver the one who told Cooper that his wife/vault tec might not be what they seem and told him to spy on his wife? Further edit: MR HOUSE, before he is a computer, is in the meeting where they discuss dropping the bombs🤯🤯 I thought i caught the majority of the reference but it seems ive missed some big things😅
They 2atch so many shows and play games that they forget the story lines... they should binge watch like me. 😂 if there's a season 2 dropping layer, I have to rewatch season 1 and then binge season 2. It is the only way I can keep up with the stories
@CuddleCakez or you don't react to 1000 diff shows as a job which means you have no clue what it is like and maybe it is harder than you think. Idgaf if they don't remember cause the duh moment when they do is objectively better
Walton Goggins. Want a villian? Watch American Ultra! He's nuts in that! Plays a pyromaniac called Laugher. Amazing job he did! And if you want a breakdown of the movie, think clumsy Jason Bourne lol
"They gave me a robe. And slippers." For some reason this line makes me think about the travesty that Fallout 76's launch was. There's a good video on it by *Internet Historian* called "The Fall of 76" if you guys are interested! A lot of questionable market business gone over in that video, kinda like our very own Vault-Tec in flesh!
4:20 if these guys like that the mansion is like that in this show, then, if they haven't, they should check out 'The Brothers Sun'. Brilliant and brutal comedy/action series.
I fully get the attitude towards there being only two episodes left. But you better strap in, boys. Because there are only two episodes left, and a lot to get done!!!
You have probably already finished the series so you most likely already realized this but Moldaver is the woman that "kidnapped" her dad, not the woman in the vault.
the mystery of the vaults is really prevalent in the games with really cool mini stories. so I'm so glad it's such a big part in this show, I know you guys will love the games and the last 2 eps
i love how mild your ideas are of what are 'bad vaults' lol You guys aint dark enough to even imagine! I promise it does all come together with answers for you Mason!
BaddMedicine. There are officially 122 vaults spread across the US. After your done with the story should react to a video listing all the “known” vaults and describing what happened in them. “One of the good ones” becomes VERY apparent.
Walton plays a few villians, one that I admittedly think of is the one slave owner in django. He doesnt have alot of dialogue but his few lines makes him a hatable and likable villian
That "Pillowing" Conversation between Lucy & Maximus came out of nowhere 😆 & "Gucy" has gotta be her nickname from now on! & new drinking game, take a shot anytime someone says "Cult" 🥃 & welp this story just got a whole lot darker with way the episode ended! 😯

I completely forgot he was in that, saw it in theaters and haven't seen it since lol
Regular human bartender
@@kingjellybean9795It’s in the TV show, not the movie. If you liked the movie, it’s great!
@11:41 - the fact that you guys weren't immediately laughing about that actor lets us know you need to add Reservation Dogs to you TV list.
I think it’s interesting that the Overseer calls Lucy “Goosey” a bird.
“Birdie” is probably also a nickname... I wonder what her real name is? And I wonder why he always chooses avian nicknames..? 🤔
*they ARE both surfies
It’s crazy rewatching this knowing how much they manage to cram in to the last 2 episodes.
Imo every episode outdoes the previous episode all the way from 1-8. Can’t wait to see your reactions to the next 2.
I notice the similarity with homelanders "You are the real heroes here" in the ad in the beginning :)
Same producers of Fallout and "The boys".
Caviar is the uncured eggs of sturgeon. Not the sturgeon itself.
Yes Diamond Dave there Gulpers Vault 4 Had Created Them by birth
"at least when we know theres 33"
someone tell them that theres over 100 of these vaults hahahah
4:00 no dudes that's a thing.. My grandfather was a director and he had all the movies he ever did plastered on the walls. It's just a hollywood thing you do when you are proud of your accomplishments. Got nothing to do with being self centered.
"Cheap vaults." Nah. That's not what she meant. Here's where knowledge from the games comes in handy. When she says "good" vaults she means.... well... let's not spoil the surprise. All you need to know is that the vaults aren't what you think they are. ;-)
Fusion cores in the Fallout universe are like standard batteries.
It's only natural you guys believe they're doing genetic experiments in Vault 4. Doesn't that seem odd? ;-)
** Ah, I see Answer brought it up. Yes, Moldaver is still alive despite she being from before the bombs. She's not a ghoul, so there's another story there.
My jaw just dropped....i had no idea until now that moldaver was alive before the bombs🤯🤯🤯.... I completely missed it... they mightve missed it too
Edit: Omg!!!!! Is moldaver the one who told Cooper that his wife/vault tec might not be what they seem and told him to spy on his wife?
Further edit: MR HOUSE, before he is a computer, is in the meeting where they discuss dropping the bombs🤯🤯
I thought i caught the majority of the reference but it seems ive missed some big things😅
7:48 Answer is hilarious 😂 😂😂
11:13 "One of the good Vaults". People who don't know: 🙂, People who know: 😱
Yall realize Moldaver is the lady who kidnapped Lucy's dad right?
They were baby gulpers
The Ghoul gave that guy a second ass hole🤣🙏 what a shot
"They gave me a robe. And slippers."
For some reason this line makes me think about the travesty that Fallout 76's launch was.
Did not have Diamond Dave saying the word "taint" on my bingo card for this episode lmao
God I love this episode. One of you says "What is this tradition?", and the scene switches to a business card for a funeral home :)
Also the things that came out of the pregnant woman was more of the Axolotl aka Gulpers
They were implying about the poster of her during the worship scene
the mystery of the vaults is really prevalent in the games with really cool mini stories. so I'm so glad it's such a big part in this show, I know you guys will love the games and the last 2 eps
Shame none of you were familiar with Matt Berry, he's a real talent
i love how mild your ideas are of what are 'bad vaults' lol You guys aint dark enough to even imagine! I promise it does all come together with answers for you Mason!
The fusion core conundrum……..1 core can power a full vault for generations. 1 core can fuel a power suit for about a day and a half..😂🤣
The fusion core was supposed to power the armor for years but Bethesda changed it in Fallout 4 because idk.
Fusion cores don't actually run out in power armor that fast in universe. In Fallout 4 it's strictly there for balancing purposes
Just as was thinking "where does the caviar come from?" answer said it as well, I wonder if that caviar tastes better than the regular one lol
The overseer was obviously listening when Lucy asked Maximus if he wanted to have sex.
That is why he called her goosey, as in loosey-goosey.
Walton Goggins is the villain in a few movies tbh and he does a phenomenal job at that as well lol
btw for the number if u text it you'll get a easter egg aswell
Hollywood Forever *is* a real funeral home. It's in Los Angeles.
BaddMedicine. There are officially 122 vaults spread across the US. After your done with the story should react to a video listing all the “known” vaults and describing what happened in them. “One of the good ones” becomes VERY apparent.
The screaming is Slim Pickens as he rides the Nuke in Dr. Strangelove.
Keep it up gs, great series, great review 🏆
if somebody gets covered in a flower dress...that made me laugh more than I expected
Walton actually plays a pretty decent villain in the Fat Man. Crazy Christmas movie if y'all ever want to give it a chance
I actually also thought it was gonna be his daughter. 100% think that was the intention
Good vault doesn’t mean cheap vault
You can call the number shown on the screen.
Welcome everyday of every vault in the world!
