What a beautiful video!!! What an overall great message to people in their 30s. I turned 32 in February and I didn't do much with my life in my 20s, sometimes I still feel like a loser for that. Yet at 32 I am actually finding myself for the first time, what life I want, what job I would love, where I would want to live, etc. I am finally finding what fits in my life and I still feel like a loser and like I am behind in life. Thank you so much for this. This was a good reminder for me.

33 was one of my favorite years! I am glad you are enjoying it too. My 30s were my favorite so far (I turned 40 in Nov). I am glad you feel good and content right now. That is so important. I know several people who were adopted, and most of them went through identity struggles and I feel that is normal (when you think about wanting to know where you came from, who your birth parents were, why you were given up for adoption, etc). I have heard that saying about watering your own lawn before and love it too. I am one who doesn't compare myself to others, but I compare myself to myself a lot - which probably stimulates growth. As always, loved your video.

Chronological Age/Biological Age and Society expectations can mislead us so much and take away our Happiness. Not everyone feels their age. I do believe that Spiritual Age is the most accurate age, where time is endless, and we feel happy and content with who we are. and the "number" doesn't define us.
When I turned 40, I felt like life was done, but then I began to shift my mindset and realized that I am alive and life should continue to be enjoyed doesn't matter your age! We keep growing, getting stronger and becoming wiser. Thank you Sophie for another inspirational video! ❤

Again what words of wisdom you have shared Sophie! I really want to single out two in particular. It is indeed the stinking thinking that often leads us down a rabbit hole. Your emphasis on good therapy is spot on. Good job! Second I think too many look at others to try to figure out what to do or the so called "wisdom" of crowds. Instead your emphasis at looking inside and try to figure what works for you is beyond excellent. Your wanting to spend quiet time with your husband to reflect on things is a strong sign of a meaningful love relationship. That is priceless. Blessings and peace to you! Craig

I turned 34 in April and for some reason this year was a real wake up call for me. I realised that I wasn’t just on the wrong path, I wasn’t on any path! I can really relate to how disheartening it is being rejected from jobs that you know you’d be great at - I’m right there at the moment too. So after 10 years out of education, I will be studying for my access to university qualifications at the end of summer. My future classmates will likely be younger than me, but I’ve already had a full life, which has changed how I perceive myself and the world around me, for the better. There are no rules on which order your life should be lived, and I truly believe that you are only as old as you feel.

I'm just be made redundant after 13 years at the same company, it was a shock but I realized I wasn't happy there. I'm preparing to start my own business. I'm still learning to change how I see myself and to let go of what I was told I was when I was younger. We have all been there before. You cant make everyone happy. Be kind to yourself and have more time thinking what you need. After that you will have the energy and the positive mindset to do deal with people correctly.

How amazing it would be to enjoy life doing nothing but still being content. 🥺I'm excited for that moment, and I really hope I'll arrive at that point during my thirties. But as a twenty-something who's still trying to navigate life, I guess I have to work my ass off for now. Thank you so much for your videos and podcast, Sophie, they really help slow down my life a bit. 🤍

I really respect the channel and love the content, it helps my focus and direction in life. I would challenge the BetterHelp sponsorship and direct people to do research first, I'm sure the company has changed but please be aware that your data could be sold to large social media companies, leaving your confidential information open for companies to direct their ads. I'm sure there are good intentions behind you accepting the sponsor and I'm happy that they can support your channel so you can continue the great work.

What I noticed in retrospect is that one's late 20s and early 30s are a roller coaster. Your brain is fully developed, you're processing stuff from when you were younger, and it's just a very tumultuous time emotionally, mentally, and maybe spiritually. Unless there's an underlying chronic medical issue, it starts evening out after a few years. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. A lot of people feel ashamed for having a hard time, but young adulthood lasts until we hit 35 for a reason.

thank you so much for sharing, Sophie. I relate so much to the things you share in this video, especially on how we don’t have to tie ourselves to one identity and that rejection (or even failures) is not a reflection of our self-worth. I started my own TH-cam channel not too long ago to create my own opportunity and get my hands dirty in the creative space because I felt so exhausted of chasing creative roles in corporate environments that don’t really align with my true purpose. it has been such a rewarding journey so far. I also constantly myself that I am on my own timeline and this is my path to own :) thanks again for sharing and may you always be blessed with abundance, inner piece, and true fulfilment ❤👼🏻

'There is no such thing as "falling behind" ' (7:52) ... also applies to age. Don't get too caught up in the numbers, particularly decades. Keeping your mind and physical active, will help you enjoy life not matter what age. Being well past 30, I wondered what I feel no different mentally than when I was in my 30's. Physically some things, but there is still much to enjoy.
