@jasongomez5344 Yes, it's AI. They use the same voice on some late night commercials on TV. It's pretty good, in my opinion though beside the awful pronouncing of some of these Car Models
I don't care what anybody has to say about the 1990 - 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible. I owned a 1994 red one. That is and will be the best ever made period!. A beautifle design and driving experience. That car isand was very reliable. My favorite car all time.
Yeah the guy making those videos must be retarded especially by using AI, I've had a 1997 CL 2.2 with the 2.2 engine, it wasn't a fast car and it was never meant to be (and honestly I don't give a fuck about this) but it was still running strong, cheap on gas and parts. Here's the kicker : the car was a hand me down by my parents in 2015 and by then it had already over 500 000km, I live in a rust area so that was kind of inevitable but other than that it was great, I miss that car to this day as my current 2012 Nissan Sentra SER door pannel armrest side broke off, that shit never happened with the old Acura 😂
I've heard the Honda's automatic transmissions coupled with the V6 were notorious for poor reliability, it's a shame as otherwise the J V6 are underrated engines. My old 97 had the 2.2 and the transmission only started slipping when it was over 500 000km, at the time I was also a dumb kid that I was doing 1-2-3 drive with the automatic transmission, which I regret it to this day 😅
The ironic thing is the Hyundai Ioniq hybrid sedan looks like a copy of the 1996 ford Taurus. The jag xj220 would still do 200 mph plus while modern super cars will barely do that.
7:42 - Wrong. The Catera was an admission by GM that they're making the wrong vehicles to compete with the Europeans, namely BMW and Mercedes. They needed a sports sedan with RWD and sophistication. Catera was more of a case study than a final project. The lesson wasn't "wE nEeD a DiStInCt DeSiGn," which then led to the CTS. The lesson was "we need agility, horsepower, sophistication, and a new identity." That's why CTS was so starkly different from the bloated FWD shit Cadillac was selling before then.
Most of these vehicles are FAR from the worst cars. They may have been marketing missteps or shy first steps into a market they were new to, but that's it. Some were bad, but not the worst. Generally, most on this list were still were well made vehicles and priced well, especially compared to the crap we have today. I think the only vehicles that truly belong on this list are the Dodge Van (bad mechanicals), 2nd Gen Chevrolet Cavalier / Pontiac Sunfire (bad mechanicals and quality control), Daewood Lanos, Nubira, and Leganza (so bad Daewood no longer sell cars in the US), and the Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible (typical 80s malaise still plaguing GM). This video needs to go back and revise its criteria for what is bad. Bad marketing and sales doesn't make a car bad. Bad design, construction, fit and finish, quality control, safety, handling, unreliable mechanical or electrical functions are what make a car bad.
0:12 - Nah. No. You can't call the Breeze one of the worst cars if the Stratus & Cirrus were fine. You can criticize the badge engineering or the overall marketing strategy of Plymouth, but the car isn't bad just because the business model is.
I had a 99 Acura CL 5 speed Red. I put over 400k miles on it in 20 years. By far the car I put the most miles on and I still could have driven across to California from North Carolina if I want to even at the time I sold it in 2019.
The Jag XJ220 wasn't a bad car, just ridiculously overpriced. Daewoo were just cheap crap and probably the worst 1990's cars, closely followed by Mercedes Benz with their stupid wiring harness that degrades and costs almost the same as the car to replace. Nissan was also a problem. With cars that would fall apart and mechanical problems that were expensive to fix.
@@thewiseguy3529 Never seen a 90's Dodge or Plymouth so I don't have an opinion on these. Yes the Chrysler were sht. The Neon was a disaster. I've had a few 90's cars but they were all really good. Mostly Mitsubishi, Ford & GM-H. Best were the Mitsubishi's especially the Lancer & Magna. The Lancer Coupe was my personal car.
Wait, I'm only 1:04 in and this is already an AI-narrated amateurish hack job. Why criticize the Breeze as being the budget version of the "cloud platform" cars when Plymouth was the budget brand? Makes perfect sense. Sure the Chrysler Cirrus was much nicer, but Chrysler was the lux brand. Sure the Dodge Stratus was sportier, but Dodge was the sportier brand. Did these people do any research? I'll keep watching and edit this if I need to, but what lame half-wit presentation right from the start.
Nobody liked the weird oval style of the redesigned 1996 Ford Taurus. As a result, the Ford Taurus lost to the boring Toyota Camry as the #1 selling car in America
My nephew has one of those Taurus's and it keeps going, I don't mind the oval look to it. I loved my '91 Chevy Cavalier RS! Was a great first time buyer car.
OH Man I don't know about anyone else but you could do a stand up comedy routine with this stuff. I am a old guy and I only remember 60% of these cars. I must have lived a very sheltered😂 life.
@@seed_drill7135 everyone badge engineered, go back to 1969 Plymouth had the fury, dodge had the monaco and Chrysler had the new yorker, they are the same cars. Plymouth was for budget minded, dodge for sport and Chrysler fir luxury
2:31 - Again... You can't call the T100 "awful". It was still a good truck, but didn't succeed at taking over the full-sized truck market. It was more of a Dakota competitor. Bigger than Pickup/Tacoma, but nowhere close to the full-sized trucks nor as capable.
Had a 2002 Acura CL-S, the last Honda product I have or will ever purchase again. It had the explosive transmission and the way Honda handled the issue was about the worst. I had a 1992 Acura Legend that was so good, I kept it 15 years. But this one, yikes!
I wholeheartedly agree with pretty much everything they're saying. Only thing I'd like to add is they will should have stuck to making assault rifles. My Dad's friend had one it was built like a tank. Quite an impressive.
The Chrysler Cloud cars. The Breeze is just a cheaper rebadged Dodge Stratus. This is why DamilerChrylser killed off Plymouth as Plymouth did not have any unique models
Ok a SAAB on this list? The heck? First off, GM fully bought Saab in 2000, not the 90s, and Saab was really it's own company until then. Saab actually LOST money on the cars because they were trying to keep the original. Also, The 900 was NOT with the Opel, that was the 9-3. Lastly, half of the pictures of the Saabs shown are not even the same generation? Get it right smh.
These newer Daewoo model, which are sold there under the Suzuki brand, continued to be produced and sold in Europe under the same brand Daewoo. They were produced in Poland, Ukraine and some other countries of the former Soviet Union.
Wasn't Toyota's fault the T100 didn't find a market, it was just running up against buyers who wanted oversized compensation machines instead of practical utilitarian vehicles.
The 1994 to 1998 900 (NG) was based on the Vectra, it was then renamed the 9-3. The images in the video however don't show a 900 (NG), but face lifted first gen Saab 900's, which are still very much an original Saab design. The video is very sloppily made.

No Acura was ever one of the 'worst' cars. The T100, while rather wussy styling, had the brick built quality of a Toyota.

I had a 99 CL. It was a great car with a 5 speed manual. I had it for 20 years, close to 300,000 miles.
My 99 Acura CL was a FANTASTIC car! 5 spd too. Very dependable & fun to drive. Whats Inta-gra man smokin?
