- Borla was perfect up until the downpipes were installed…. Then it was a lot.. I did inquire with Borla about maybe just swapping to their s type muffler but it was kinda pricey for just that section. Nothing wrong with it, just wasn’t what we were looking for ultimately.
The @thermalrdexhaust8576 came through and muted all the nastiness we were getting in those high RPM ranges !

I'm trying to figure out what mufflers to use on my 16 f150 5.0l, it's way too loud with a full SW duel system. I want something deeper and a little bit quieter. Are the $50 jegs muffler any good? Or a Flowmaster super 40 super 50, Any ideas?
It’s so hot in Texas. When you bumped up the cams, did you notch the pistons? I might swap in new turbos but 0-60 in 3 secs is insane. I’d be happy there. Heimholtz resonator removes all the drone. Who did your engine work? 👍
Finding a tune that will manipulate the fueling and produce a shit ton of burbles will really add to this build.

Tuning computerized/turbo cars is not what I grew up on. Definitely impressed with your progress. Did you actually cam your blacked out st? If so what did that cost? I have a tune and my shifts are super hard going from 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd, is that normal? Either a really hard jerk or it hesitates and sounds like it's slipping

The Borla S type modified , Borla Atak for Stock both can handle some power . The R&D is the more affordable 3 inch + tubing . A better driver needed here . lol.. Cheers !!

I have the Atak as well but removed the mid resonator and put in a dual x pipe. Single x pipe was too loud and raspy. Germans staryed the dual x pipe design and even do the 3 x pipes.

Everyone just needs to accept it that a twin turbo v6 sounds like crap no matter what exhaust you use. Just tune it and it’s a surprise fast sleeper.

A small engine like the 3.0 is never going to get to the sweet G spot.

Well yes the 3.5L has a larger displacement. My Flex has the 3.5L TT and did a full magnaflow upgrade & tune. Now my flex pushes 412hp to the wheel from the factory 375hp.

The trackhawk driver is a pussy. The ST will never stand a chance with a real driver on the trackhawk wheel. That is a fact
