Neither of these exhaust systems are street systems. both of these systems would be horrendous and painful to run on the street on a daily, both of these systems would likely have horrible drone, simply because they’re so loud that it would get allowed inside the cabin to. If you were to run either of these cars on the street, you would want to run one of their street systems or something much closer to it than their extreme side of their systems . Like for Borla, they have a touring series, personally, I think those sound better than the attack at a wide range of rpm… I think Attak sounds better last couple grand of RPM range but meat and potato’s of it, touring sounds better IMO. A little less raspiness (usually also means it’s deeper too), you don’t get the trumpeting, and when you’re just idling, your car is blending in with traffic… but when you stand on the throttle, it’s typical Borla… screams loud and proud.
I got a Borla ATAK XPipe on my 2017 GT here in Australia, whenever I finish work in the city, eight hour shift, usually ends up being a cold start. The parking lot rumbles so much and as I'm driving down the road the noise bounces across the tall buildings in the street it's bloody loud lmao.
Had any trouble with coppers where you are with how loud the car is? I’ll be getting a gt in the next few weeks here in Brissy and are looking at this same set up but with a H pipe and catless long tubes if I feel like risking it haha

Funny story is one individual on a main road usually whistles every time they see me drive through and I usually just downshift into high revs and gun it for their entertainment. However a few of their neighbours didn't like it. Understandably to be honest I would hate hearing a Mustang screaming through every week lmao. The officer that called me said it wasn't illegal soundwise with my vehicle but if further complaints arises they would investigate my car. He was fairly cool about it and I pretty much told him no problem and explained the exhaust system and what I was doing. My elderly neighbours across the road don't like it but I explained tough shit but look, I don't rev the car or gun it down the street. I try and keep it quiet. Cold starts in the morning at 4am before work is dreadfully loud, I usually just immediately switch to reverse and get out of home. A I say just be responsible with it, and respectful of your neighbours. But once your out of the residential areas, bloody hell mate its loud. So let it rip lol.

Corsa for me! Tough choice though to be honest. The Borla sounds amazing but it’s a little “unrefined” under load (I’m aware that’s what the ATAK is all about). The Corsa is just plain snap your neck nasty ❤️ Either way, I do love them both!
Have a 2021 hellcat redeye with a Borla atak. Looking to hopefully add a GT350r to the garage soon. The Borla is just... Nasty. Everything you want for an exhaust on an American V8. Ill put the Borla on my GT350r without question.
Some of your subscribers bring up a good point about the borlas being a touch more tin sounding/raspy. Maybe try throwing an H pipe on the borla car and see what difference it would make. That may actually be an excellent combo. Id be very interested to see those results if you made a video on x vs h
Nothing beats the stock GT! Best sound of all I’ve heard. I think mustang GT is one of a few cars that has a perfect exhaust sound and noise level straight from the factory.

After switching from Flowmaster Outlaws to Corsa Xtreme’s the difference is clear as day. Been torn between these 2 exhausts for 2 year’s now and finally broke the wallet. ATAK is awesome sounds great but these Corsa’s are a dream come true.
Both sound exceptional. I reckon the best test is a 'idling drive by' of a group of school kids. They will love it and give you honest answers. Screaming exhausts are good but a nice idle cruising past a chev is better for the ears & ego.
I have kooks 1-7/8 catted and borla ATAK as well. Borla becomes a bit quiet while on the highway but once you let it rip it does it’s job. Corsa on the other hand stays rowdy. Just depends on what your style is. I get compliments all the time for my exhaust system. Plus I didn’t choose corsa due to the fact that every s550 owner chooses corsa. I like to be different. I’m actually thinking about going cattless and modifying towards a double x-pipe
old school here, back in the old days b4 all this fuel injection mapping etc., sometimes you would see/hear cars that were modded by people who didn't know what they were doing: They would put exhaust and k&n filter but didn't know how to rejet and tune the carbs. you could alway tell they didn't know what they were doing because when they let off the gas, their car would pop and crackle. I know its different now because you can map the mixture how you want, but i can't hear that sound without thinking it sounds bad lol

Finally I've been waiting forever for someone to do a comparison between Corsa Extreme vs Borla Atak They both sound sick with 2 different tones but I think the borla sounds a bit more louder but it could be the setup. Sonic I agree, I have an Borla atak cat back with XR1 borla headers , but I do agree that they are the top of the line in quality both use 304 stainless steel and have good craftsmanship and both have no drone in any RPM but it just comes down to preference do you want more of an exotic sound or a classic sound but it’s undeniable Corsa is way more raspier than borla but to each their own

Ive head both (MOPAR) and I always felt the Borla SLIGHTLY edges the CORSA. A lot of guys feel differently but I always liked the Borla on the Mustangs.
Borla’s for me. Corsa’s are just a bit too raspy for me, I like the deeper tone that the Borla’s bring for me. It’s why I got Borla ATAK’s on my Coyote swap
I'm Mustang guy like these guys but for some reason it sounds like a v6 or Nissan GTR when they were regular driving from a dead stop, and while they were reving up sitting still i heard a buzzing sound that took away that awesome 5.2L flat plane crank sound that everyone loves. It did sound much better at high RPM when they were driving them, but I think the mic 🎤 on the camera wasn't recording the exhaust note like it should have because the sound was so loud it messed it up. Both of those exhaust manufacturers have amazing products for the mustang family and I bet it was the mic 🎤 that didn't record as it should have. I love Mustang and Ford as a whole and I'm not trying to bash any of the cars or exhaust systems, I'm just wondering if anyone else heard the same thing I did. Mustang's for Life
I defiantly prefer Borla because I like the lower note. It was a little too loud for me though. I'm debating on the Borla Atak vs the S-type for my c7 corvette but I would have the luxury of the NPP valves that can help a little bit. I'm fine with the loudness but my car is under my daughters room and I leave for the gym at 4.30 to 5am so I just cannot have it crazy loud. I currently have the stock muffler with NPP valves but the long tube headers, high flow cats, x-pipe, supercharger, cold air intake, and cam have already mad it much louder. ITs so hard to know because these all sound much different in person. You cannot capture the true experience on a recording.
Moe Slide i have them and they are not loud unless you actually rev it up to like 5-6k. Maybe its because i dont have headers or x pipe. Just the axle backs but its perfect for being quiet when you want it to and loud when you need to.
That X pipe is raspy I ended up doing the corsa extreme with a steeda H pipe and it gave it the nice deep rumble tone but I have a gen 4 Coyote so it sounds a little different than the previous gens.
Both similar in the fact that they amplify the inherent raspiness of the Coyote and the longtubes add to that as well. The Borla seems to have a slightly deeper sound that presents with more of a chambered/hollow/tinny aspect. Some like this and some don't. The Corsa doesn't have that and sounds mildly clearer. Both are excellent if that's the sound you're looking for. Personally, I prefer something closer to the Krona sound that is "smoother" with deeper tones and a general rumble than the sharp raspy sounds like the air is being ripped apart.
Hook your phone or laptop toa nice Bluetooth speaker or stereo system and then listen to the clips. For me it’s Borla FTW that Crackle does it for me. Thanks for the great content

if i am not mistaken if one is a r version and one is a regular version that does make a difference. the r version doesnt have resonators and the regular gt350 does. that will make a big difference in sound
these are 2 full exhaust systems, those mid pipes with resonators are far gone. everything from the cats back has been replaced on these cars, so that would include the resonator. if these were stock exhausts with just 2 different axlebacks, yes it would make a difference, but since these are 2 catbacks, it doesn't matter. as said in the video, one has a double helix x pipe and the other has a different sort of x pipe. both of those are resonator deletes in themselves. with that being said, neither of these cars have resonators. hope this helps!
Damn I’m a Borla man... I have them on my Snake, but on this day I’m going to have to pick Corsa. I don’t want to spend another grand on a set of axle backs 😢 but I may have to now.
Need to be there in person next time. I don’t trust my phone speaker to make the accurate sounds. Those cars both sound like serious drag race cars and scare the crap out of me. Corsa sounds more predictable and consistent. Borla sounds like it is crackling unpredictably. It should be noted borla can use the normal quiet mode but corsa has those active valves removed
Borla sounds more louder than Corsa but I think the Whipple Supercharger is the big factor because I have it with Corsa and sounds more louder than the Corsa Gt350
I just recently got a 16 gt and was thinking I was doing the smart thing by not getting a gt350 but I haven’t even noticed the bill. I could have gotten one and it wouldn’t have even been that big of a difference in monthly. Should I bite the bullet and trade it in at a loss now and get a gt350 or wait a year to refinance then trade it in? Any thoughts from anyone would be good. Thanks.
My honest opinion is that the kooks longtube with the borla atak exhaust sounds louder and more beefy I like it a lot but the Corsa sounds great as well

The 17' with the Corsa definitely a cleaner sound. Both are pretty damn amazing at the end of the day

It did sound much better at high RPM when they were driving them, but I think the mic 🎤 on the camera wasn't recording the exhaust note like it should have because the sound was so loud it messed it up. Both of those exhaust manufacturers have amazing products for the mustang family and I bet it was the mic 🎤 that didn't record as it should have.
I love Mustang and Ford as a whole and I'm not trying to bash any of the cars or exhaust systems, I'm just wondering if anyone else heard the same thing I did.

I defiantly prefer Borla because I like the lower note. It was a little too loud for me though. I'm debating on the Borla Atak vs the S-type for my c7 corvette but I would have the luxury of the NPP valves that can help a little bit. I'm fine with the loudness but my car is under my daughters room and I leave for the gym at 4.30 to 5am so I just cannot have it crazy loud. I currently have the stock muffler with NPP valves but the long tube headers, high flow cats, x-pipe, supercharger, cold air intake, and cam have already mad it much louder. ITs so hard to know because these all sound much different in person. You cannot capture the true experience on a recording.

Moe Slide i have them and they are not loud unless you actually rev it up to like 5-6k. Maybe its because i dont have headers or x pipe. Just the axle backs but its perfect for being quiet when you want it to and loud when you need to.

That X pipe is raspy I ended up doing the corsa extreme with a steeda H pipe and it gave it the nice deep rumble tone but I have a gen 4 Coyote so it sounds a little different than the previous gens.

Both similar in the fact that they amplify the inherent raspiness of the Coyote and the longtubes add to that as well. The Borla seems to have a slightly deeper sound that presents with more of a chambered/hollow/tinny aspect. Some like this and some don't. The Corsa doesn't have that and sounds mildly clearer. Both are excellent if that's the sound you're looking for.
Personally, I prefer something closer to the Krona sound that is "smoother" with deeper tones and a general rumble than the sharp raspy sounds like the air is being ripped apart.

Corsa sounds wicked clean on them 350's
if i am not mistaken if one is a r version and one is a regular version that does make a difference. the r version doesnt have resonators and the regular gt350 does. that will make a big difference in sound
these are 2 full exhaust systems, those mid pipes with resonators are far gone. everything from the cats back has been replaced on these cars, so that would include the resonator. if these were stock exhausts with just 2 different axlebacks, yes it would make a difference, but since these are 2 catbacks, it doesn't matter. as said in the video, one has a double helix x pipe and the other has a different sort of x pipe. both of those are resonator deletes in themselves. with that being said, neither of these cars have resonators. hope this helps!

God they both sound amazing. This is a tough one but the borla sounds a little meaner. Corsa more refined.

Damn I’m a Borla man... I have them on my Snake, but on this day I’m going to have to pick Corsa. I don’t want to spend another grand on a set of axle backs 😢 but I may have to now.

Need to be there in person next time. I don’t trust my phone speaker to make the accurate sounds. Those cars both sound like serious drag race cars and scare the crap out of me. Corsa sounds more predictable and consistent. Borla sounds like it is crackling unpredictably. It should be noted borla can use the normal quiet mode but corsa has those active valves removed
Borla sounds more louder than Corsa but I think the Whipple Supercharger is the big factor because I have it with Corsa and sounds more louder than the Corsa Gt350

I just recently got a 16 gt and was thinking I was doing the smart thing by not getting a gt350 but I haven’t even noticed the bill. I could have gotten one and it wouldn’t have even been that big of a difference in monthly. Should I bite the bullet and trade it in at a loss now and get a gt350 or wait a year to refinance then trade it in? Any thoughts from anyone would be good. Thanks.
