This was very helpful, thank you 😊 I’d put lots into Def based on other videos I watched a few weeks ago, but found I was very squishy in hard mode. I switched more to HP and its made a big difference, haven’t died in a while now 😂
Yeah, I started out with defense too, but there is a vid I made where I show why HP is more important than Defense. Just so you know, you only need 16k defense and the rest can go to hitpoints. This gives you 30% damage reduction and is more than enough for most things.

Good tips. Having fewer mods that are max/near max level is better. As you upgrade a mod each upgrade increment gets larger generally instead of even linear gains per level. Early on unless you got lucky in a boss drop you will not have access to Iron Defense or Spear and Shield or many of the cool mods builders minmax with. Increase HP and DEF are the first 2 you get flooded with and should max both of them because it will be a while before you can get and max the purple and gold mods.
@eltreum1 this is correct, but Spear and Shield and Iron Defense can both be obtained around level 50ish. White Night Gulch has a mission (in normal mode) with a 22.5% drop, so it's relatively easy to farm. Until then, they can use Increased Defense. However, ultimately they will need to switch over.
@@RealAsianRobot For sure. For me somewhere between the fortress gate farm in WKG and Hagios is when I got both of mine and MP collector dropped the same day. I think another tip is to not linger and unlock hard mode asap because just getting to that point will get you most of things you need along the way normally. I tried to farm the 1-2% MP Collector in the early zones and gave up before I hated the game lol.

Weapons you can try all. The mods are the same. Descendants you can also try out all. Just be sure not to invest (I.e. use energy activators and catalysts) until you hit hard mode. That's basically it. You can actually try out all sorts of different things in normal mode until you find what you want to really invest in

I juiced up sharen as my first character and used her to get the few ultimates I got. I think she is a good, non ultimate character since you need her for outposts, and we don't know when she will get an ult. Now that I got ult bunny, I turned her into my farming character. I focused mostly on juicing up Thundercage and Greg's. Most hard content has become super manageable. Good luck out there, and don't let the grind burn you out!
I mean the game just doesn't tell you a lot, e.g. You need Sharen the stealth outposts(If it did I missed it), I mean I just found out to day there's a Descendant module called *Shot Focus* that gives you firearm attack.
I had trouble beating hard mode and normal, why? Cuz I didn’t know how to upgrade modules efficiently and what to do wanted to learn by myself. But after watching few videos of you and other I started see some progress when I actually upgraded modules etc
best bet is to look for them in the access info and search for the one you need, for example you can put HP aux power and it will show you the missions that will drop it. keep farming until you have like 3 good rolls for each and you're good to go
Resistance is not needed in Hard Mode. It does not help at all compared to defense unfortunately and is usually a waste of a mod slot. As for the external components: - Before Hard Modd I just farmed the bosses a few times to get something decent to drop. - After Hard Mode, there is a weekly rotation of external components that you can farm up 😁👍
What modules would you recommend for a f2p Viessa? Also i accidentally used one catalyst on her but I'm on devourer hard rn been farming lots on the side
If your problem is survival, farm external components with the HP stat. If your problem is damage, then you need to upgrade your modules to improve them :) that's usually the issue
Use whichever one based on how you want to build him. Heck most end game builds use 2 different Transcendents for a farming build and then a boss killing build. So my honest advice is to experiment and try all the transcendsnts until you are ready
Use the Endgame Boss build for Ultimate Bunny, just take out high voltage as regular bunny cannot do it. But in truth, you should have an ultimate bunny fully end game ready before even trying the new storyline. I know it was badly communicated but it's not a continuation of normal mode. It is actually intended as content around molten fortress level.
Hi boss! Just want to shout-out that the positive to be in green color and the negative to be in red. Like more recoil to be in red, shorter skill cool-down to be in green? I’m quite confuse with the plus and minus. Is minus skill cool-down is worst or shorter cool-down? Plus recoil is more recoil or better recoil handling with less recoil?
Green is positive, red is negative. Example: Nimble Fingers will make your abilities cooldown faster. When you put on a module you can always see it's effect on the left hand side 😁👍

Put on the module that’s really matters before really deciding which weapon or descendant worth putting the energy activator on. These things la don’t come easy. Focus on a strong weapon as a start, a mob clearing and farming descendant then target farm a descendant. I’m trying get Greg Reversed Fate maxing out the abilities. Making descent progression.
@@RealAsianRobot yes! Along getting Greg Reversed Fate Parts, I unintentionally got Gley and Enzo parts also. I will max out the ability then put the module you suggested and give it a go. A maxed ability Greg should be able to kill hard bosses I hoped. Which descendant in your opinion is good for the toughest hard boss?
@RealAsianRobot I can confirm it's not just the streams. Been farming enzo mods for days. Watched this video for fun as im in hard mode already, got his Supply Firearm Enhancer finally.
Executioner is not a good comparison for dmg mitigation/resist. He's easy u just slow play. Elemental resist will save u in other fights. And makes Pyro trivial. When ur down thats 2 ppl not dppsing so irlf ir dieing. Up ur resist that'll probably get u through without grinding for better rolls.
So your weapons was level 50 but your gear was level 100? If you going to showcases then you should keep all the same level. If you had level 50 gear on as well you wouldn't be face tanking as much as you did.
The point is to showcase the damage being done. I have already beaten him with everything at level and the guide is there on my channel my dude. Trying to find problems on a vid designed to help and showcase things is really uncool my guy. Please find someone else to watch if you're going to bring that attitude
That wasnt me having an attitude but an observation. The title said survivability well if thats the case why not show the survivability at level of the gun for fair expectations. When you use higher gear and solo play the investment in survivability is minimum due player scaling and you can solo rely on gear to protect you. Now its great to know i can take on hard mode boss with lower level weapons but when it came to gear, how would that run would have went if your gear was on par with your weapon.@RealAsianRobot

This is just a demonstration for people to know individually what weapon modules, Descendant modules and external components are most crucial for their journey. It is a general guide and the correct information is shown as needed. Survivability was covered differently and separately because having to go back and farm external components at level is much tougher than guns. I had them when I was going through the game, but they've long since been deleted (end game requires plenty of storage space). I hope this clarifies things and you seek the appropriate guides for boss battles.
You might have missed it but he did say he was showcasing weapon damage and survivability differently. Weapon damage was a Lvl 50 weapon against a Lvl 50 boss. Survivability was early Hard mode components against an early hard mode boss. It was all level appropriate. Just done as 2 separate sections
I love these kinds of videos that show that you dont always have to have the most overpowered ultimate setup to clear content. Good stuff man.

Ideal way to test yourself is with a random team.
Solo is easier, boss is 1/5 of its health haha
