    3:50 I 3d printed a little handle with a 2 hollows for the fingers and lowered trigger for the latest xiaomi one, it latches on the crinkle-cut part near the bit, and it's perfect now. For the bigger screws or better torque I got xiaomi hoto, the one with 3 gears, made similar handle because it can really pull....

    Just bought the Jakemy JM-Y04 ( May 23, 2022, $52 Amazon ) and it has a break now - ie you can use it even if there is no power and/or if the screw is beyond the torque of this. Says a break is part of the functionality as well on the Amazon page. I like the removable rechargeable battery. We'll see how it goes. I should mention that the CreationSpace model is so thick, that I believe its worth considering a full-on powered screwdriver that is just slightly thicker. Finally, if this Jakemy doesn't work out, I'll be considering a "Kinetic screwdriver" next. I may try a few just to see how it is......

    I have the Wowstick 1F Pro. Has USB-C, don’t know what or if anything else was changed from the one you have, I use it for m3 screw in 3d printer plastic and it gets the job done, but I can see that it’s struggling to cut the threads, tho admittedly the hole might have been a bit too small. It doesn’t have enough torque to strip the threads, which is great.
    I got the Wowstick drill at the same time, this too is a bit lacking in torque, but with some time it drills holes through plastic, wood and very soft metal.
    I also bought a TS101, and this one is incredible, well worth the price, an excellent tiny ultra portable soldering iron

    Hi @Cheap&Cheerful,
    I would like to update your information on CREATIONSPACE option. It seems to be that there is no records on the model CS-190A (correct me if I'm wrong). At this moment there is only one model available: *CS19A* .
    The *CS19A comes wiht micro-USB* connector and *not wiht USB-C* connector; I have seen a couple of comments in which they mentioned this.
    The CS1901A and CS1902A models have the same screwdirver *CS19A* , plus a tool box wityh different set of bits (CS1901A -> 32 pcs and CS1902A -> 20pcs).

    Working Mode: Manual&Automatic
    Product Size: 24*190mm

      Pinned to Top as this is an important comment. I had a search for the CS190 just now and you're right, I could'nt find it, so I went back to my source folder for the video and found a few graphics from 8 months ago. I'm guessing it's just bad marketing since they seem to call it 3-4 different names (variants on CS19xx). I'll put a link below this message with a graphic from the resources I used to make the video back in Dec 2021 (it's possible TH-cam will just hide my message since it contains a link, so if you don't see it, that's why). Most importantly, you are correct, sadly it's MICRO USB :~( The "Type C" port on the CS19xx is either a button or just a marking. Pretty sneaky that it looks identical to a Type C port. On the other side of course is a Micro USB. Disappointed I missed this. I will put this as first line on the video description. In any case, the video is 8 months old now, so I'd expect we should have some better models out by now, about time for an update video! Thanks for your help Mr Gomez, much appreciated.

    I'm still using the Original WOWstick that used 2xAAA batteries (no light) and really didn't do it well, it was barely enough to get loose screws out. Dropped in ONE 3.7v Lithium rechargeable battery and a jumper made of a bolt and two nuts and it can take out most small screws and torque them down very well without assistance. Been working great for the last 5 years 😁Best part, i can just swap in a freshly charged battery when it starts to feel weak. I can go through about 5 jobs with 30+ screws no problem.

One of the first results will likely be FastTech, who are a reputable seller. I don't know of any USA stores that carry it (I don't live in USA), but I can recommend FastTech. Keep in mind that we (people in chat comments here) have found that The 1901A is not coming with Type C, it's MicroUSB, so if that was a major factor then maybe try something else, like a Xiaomi Precision.

    CreationSpace CS1901A is not good for precision work if its torque is 1.5Nm. That is enough to strip every screw on most electronics needing a precision screwdriver. That is the type of torque you might want for self-tapping screws for wood and plastic. You also need something with better ergonomic grips than this for higher torque levels.

      I've never seen ones come with drill bits, only screwdriver bits. They are'nt designed for that, quite slow RPM, and don't have an adjustable chuck. I'd probably look for a mini drill for that. Still, if you could find a hex drill bit to fit, they would probably drill in plastic and light wood.

    I think it is not fair to lower the rating of the wowstick for the use of micro usb, since it is an older model than the xiaomi mijia, it has been on the market for 3 or 4 years? While the xiaomi 1 or 2 years? That's why type c.

    • @SianaGearz
      @SianaGearz ปีที่แล้ว

      Why is it not fair? Chinese companies often revise products 5 times a year. If they aren't willing to revise the product, they might as well get a lower rating. If you personally don't care that it's using a plug that you have to turn around 3 times until it goes in, feel free to just ignore that whole line in the comparison chart.

      @@TheEchelon No. It is not an inferior product. It's just older, that's why it uses usb 2 instead of type c. If to this day it is still manufactured with that type of usb 2 input, then yes, it could be considered a lower quality or inferior product.

    As a daily user of precision power screwdriver I'd say there's, probably, only one parameter to look for - RPM. Everything below 350 RPM is a crap and not worth buying. Torque is also important, but not as much. Electric precision screwdriver is either for some work or for a play couple times and forget. If it is for some work - you need it to screw-out/in a lot of screws fast - that's the main reason for it. You can break out some stiff screws or tighten up, but when dealing with 10+ screws with in a single device (that is going to be repaired) - you want to save you time and that's where RPM is needed.

Been using ES121 for a long time, but it is too heavy and the button is too hidden. By the way, about buttons - after short period of using screwdriver you get muscle memory and remember how to grip it properly without looking at it, so, in fact, particular buttons placement is not very important. Moreover, placing buttons close to the bit is not a good idea. I'm not sure it will be any better.

      I believe it came out as an independent product, then it got bought out or at least associated with one of Xiaomi's "Mi" or "Youpin" brandings, which they seem to use for projects they have some association with but which are'nt directly developed by Xiaomi themselves. I wasn't able to magnetize the bits of the Xiaomi Precision, but the Wowstick you can (it comes with a Magnetizer). Regardless, all these drivers including Wowstick, CreationSpace and Xiaomi have a standard bit and slot size, so you can just buy a set of bits that will magnetize if you find the existing ones won't.

      hi again! I got myself hands on the xiaomi precision electric screwdriver , the bits were indeed not magnetic, but the bits was attracted to a magnet, rubbing them together magnetized the bits. so yes the bits are magnetizable 👌👌

      You are correct yes. As I say at the start, this is not a review, I was looking at buying a new driver to replace my old Xiaomi so conducted an analysis of what was on the market, and whether it was objectively better than my current Xiaomi which has been around for years, and many people own. The conclusion was that only 1 of them was any good based on specs alone, the CreationSpace, but it was hard to buy (at the time), and everything else was the same, or worse than the Xiaomi. So I decided not to upgrade personally. That was 1 year ago though. Since this video was so popular, I've gone ahead and purchased all the latest drivers for 2023, and will be releasing a hands-on review of them shortly.

    So you don't own the other five screwdrivers? It's pure speculation.
    Something to consider about Creation space is that there's almost no reviews and from the looks it uses large bits which you can't use for electronics repair. Those stepped down bits are harder to find and more expensive.

    • @CheapCheerful

      Yep, it's an on paper assessment before I buy. In the end, per the video, I decided the upgraded specs on offer wasn't worth it for me, but may be for others. Agree on the CreationSpace. I'm planning a new review, with the latest models.

    • @CheapCheerful
      @CheapCheerful  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sorry friend, but this is intentionally misleading marketing which all the electric screwdriver manufacturers do. The Xiaomi Mija also claims 3nm max torque, just like the Wowstick, however these figures are for the *manual mode* torque. I.e., the maximum torque you can get by turning it with your hand, before the brake/clutch gives way. The highest torque of the electric motor on Wowstick is 0.15nm, and the Xiaomi Mija 0.20nm. Sneaky marketing hey? ;) Interestingly, they are both made by Xiaomi now, and in practice are very similar. I'd recommend getting whichever one has the features you like (eg. light, usb type).

    I bought the Creationspace CS19 because of this review and it turned out to be absolute trash. The torque selection knob started to fail after just a couple of months of use and ultimately the screwdriver stopped working at all because of it. Other people are reporting similar issues. I took it apart and the knob mechanism is incredibly cheap and poorly made. Of course, being a trash Chinese company, Creationspace has non-existent warranty support, so if you have a problem, you're on your own.
    Ultimately got myself a Dremel HSES-01 (aka Bosch Go), which is vastly superior to all the glorified paperweights you're reviewing here and less expensive too. It is very powerful when you need it, but also has a mode that will not overtorque even the tiniest of screws.
    Maybe next time try reviewing some proper electric screwdrivers instead of all of this trendy looking brushed aluminium trash with pathetic torque and/or poor reliability.

    • @CheapCheerful
      @CheapCheerful  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello there. See ( 1:39 ) in the video. Precision electric screwdrivers are industry standard for small electronics such as mobile phones, tablets, etc. Most repair stores use these, and mine personally has lasted 2 years. They're not designed for work a Dremel HSES-01 is meant for, as it's a full size electric screwdriver. While I'm sure you could disassemble a mobile phone with a Dremel, I think after the first dozen you'd be calling out for something small, thin, and light that's suitable for the task. This is why precision drivers were created, and why they're plastic inside. In any case, thank you for the feedback, hopefully this will serve as a warning to those shopping for full size electric screwdrivers to stay away from precision electrics. I would ask that you perhaps tone down your comments as they do come across as a little racist and needlessly aggressive - And remember, I did not ask you to buy the CreationSpace, I only said what I personally would buy, based on the information available. Thank you.

    • @AlDim000
      @AlDim000 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CheapCheerful The HSES-01 is roughly the same weight and size the CS19 and both are advertised for taking apart electronics, which is exactly what I need them for. In fact the Dremel is much better at handling tiny screws as it will not overtighten them no matter what, it simply stops rotating when they're in while the CS19 requires quite a bit of fiddling with the torque knob to avoid applying too much torque. I've had a WowStick as well, so I agree with you that it's no good. That thing barely has the torque needed to take apart a cellphone and can't even loosen most laptop screws, not to mention computers or video game consoles which I service a lot, it can't handle 90% of the screws used for those applications.
      I fail to see how calling out the horrendous quality and support of many Chinese companies is "racist". Working on electronics, I constantly have to order parts and tools from China and a whole lot of it is absolute trash. I've received many broken out of the box, unreliable, or plain unsafe products from Chinese companies and they do everything they can to not honor warranties either. There's plenty of good stuff too, but these precision screwdrivers ain't it. In the case of the CS19 I'm just warning people that they should avoid it at all costs because it's poorly designed, unreliable, and Creationspace doesn't honor warranties at all even on their official Aliexpress store.

      @@AlDim000 Alright mate, now I just think you're trolling. The HSES weights 6 times as much (370g vs 56g) and is almost twice as thick. They cannot be compared. @@CheapCheerful LOL, get your facts straight, dude. I measured them just for you. The HSES-01 weighs exactly 300g and the CS19 is a little under 200g. You can't have a 56g device deliver 1.5Nm of torque, it's just not a thing. Yes, obviously the Dremel is thicker, but given the much better grip compared to the CS19, it doesn't feel bulkier and it's much less awkward to hold. Regardless, the issue of the CS19 is build quality. It just can't handle a real sustained workload like a proper electric screwdriver even though it's advertised to handle assembling furniture (so much for comparing it to precision electric screwdrivers... it doesn't even come with precision bits lol).
