Im happy I immediately saw that retreating move. Great move indeed! Improves the worst piece, opens the A file, and creates monumental threats all in a single move
I cant get enough of your videos!!! Your quality is you both verbally and visually explain the ideas. While I do love Gotham , your product brings a much more "too the point" approach. Which I prefer. Thankyou so much for your very instructional videos. If I didn't have work tomorrow morning I'd watch your videos all night!
Fischer always seems to have that one stinging move that immediately finishes his opponents. Always enjoy your videos, Happy 2024! God bless you and yours this new year. In Jesus Name, amen.
ChessDawg, Pls analyze the game of Mere Sultan Khan vs J.R. Capablanca. I need explanation on why Capa lost on that game. Sultan Khan was also called the "Genius of Piece Activity" and the "Unsung Grandmaster", He defeated player like Tartakower. he also plays against Alekhine. his opening were unusual but he is a Great Player. Pls show us some of his games🙏
Brilliant. The video is worth a Thousand QUEENS !! Enjoy the video immensely as it reveals other potential strategies with the help of 21st century software. And the last connotation is a GAME-CHANGER. That is, "Position your worst piece in a more desirable (attacking) position". Sensational statement. In life the simplest strategies are always the most efficient. Thank You
Thanks, that was an interesting game with just the right amount of analysis and sidelines. Very clear and understandable. Mir Sultan Khan - Capablanca, Hastings 1930-31 would be interesting to analyze. I guess not many (with exception of many commentators below) know the story of this unusual chess prodigy (the Morphy of Asia?)
Best analysis of a Brilliant game I've ever seen. The Analysis did go down every possible sideline of every possible position extending the video to 38 minutes unnessarly.
Nxe5 was the better move opposed to Re1. For if Black goes Qxe5, you respond with Qd4 offering a Queen exchange. If which most likely they are decent they will trade Queens which I personally believe the position is still great for white. If they get greedy and instead of trading ladies get greedy and go Qxe2, you then go Qg7 threatening to take the Rook AND checkmate with Qxe7. They 0-0 it’s B for Horse it goes much deeper but, just wanted to throw this variation out there for you to ponder!
Fischer and Alekhine both had a deeper understanding of chess than their opponents. Capablanca was almost totally undefeated, and had a terrific talent, and in Fischer's heyday, the Soviet chess machine dominated the world. Both ended up being no match for Alekhine's and Fischer's preperation.
Fischer did not liked Alekhine! Fischer claiming Alekhine planning mate attack early move 25 and Alekhine not fresh but too complex heavy attack plans!
i have huge respect for chess players. I never got into the game. It makes me aggressive because It's so freaking boring for me, staring at squares. Tried chinese chess, it's a bit more interesting but board games are simply not for me
Nice game! 1900 FIDE strength player here: I worked out Bc1! and the idea and that the rook check etc would accomplish nothing for black. Darga is still alive? That is cool. I lost OTB to someone aged 92 once.
In fact Fischer was LUCKY he wasn’t playing me in that game. Nxe5 was better than Re1 explain to me why what I shared is wrong, especially after I go Qd4?
Watching Bobby Fisher play is like ants watching a giant bootsole coming down from the sky. Our little lives are puny and insignificant in comparison to the bootsole gods…

What an EXCELLENT chess lecture!

Gotham is really overanalyzing his videos. 30 minutes for a signle chess match is waaaaaaaay too much time.
Fischer always seems to have that one stinging move that immediately finishes his opponents. Always enjoy your videos, Happy 2024! God bless you and yours this new year. In Jesus Name, amen.
It’s like he gradually sets it up
Thanks for the lesson. I think you are a better teacher than the other chess TH-camrs.
It’s interesting how Fischer had strategic clarity in his games

Here here l😊
Thanks, I found the move off that rule and will remember it. Thanks.

I saw the move when you announced that it was time for the move!!!! Fischer saw this without having any announcement ... genius at work.
Your chess videos are so unique among massive others in the internet. Many thanks!
I also saw Bc1, but only as a nice move, eyeing both e3 and f4.
Didn't expect Bf4 to be so powerful!
The rule really worth remembering and applied before making a move every time, thanks.
!!! GREAT Work Here!!!
..*NOTHING* more important in a *chess video* than the conceptual/thematic/idea orientation😊
Excellent video,Thank you,for explaining so clearly!
Hi! I discovered your channel today and I must say Iam verry impressed. Your commentary and choice of Fischer's games is awesome. Thank you!
Thanks, that was an interesting game with just the right amount of analysis and sidelines. Very clear and understandable.

Great lecture - great example! Always something to be learned watching the great Bobby Fischer play!
Best analysis of a Brilliant game I've ever seen.
The Analysis did go down every possible sideline of every possible position extending the video to 38 minutes unnessarly.
Relative to when he played and looking back on his games to me Fischer is the greatest
Fischer is unparalleled
Interestingly, Fischer considered the Winaver variation to be "positionally unsound" (for Black).
I’m glad how I found the bishop move and where it wants to go before you revealed it
I love your videos mate. May I suggest that you add the taken pieces somewhere in the area of players names?
This video is really so informative 😮😮... Glad I watched that
12:36 missed decisive win Qxc6+ Ka7, Qxd7+.
But anyway it's great content.
Thanks ChessDawg
Saw it ! (You can still lower the camera a notch. )
Excellent lecture !!
Very enjoyable game. Thanks CD!
Nice game and I saw that Bishop move. Thanks.
I concur, “Hey Francis! You were good in the beginning, but now you’re just in the way…get over there and make yourself useful!”

Very well displayed and thank you for the great tutorial
Another quality video from Mr. Dawg
subscibed! Great video -- (ot of the spelling) Makedanov's Rule
great, clear analytical video, subscribed!
Good game! clever stuff...and I DID see the bishop move Bc1 going to f4 with check!!
How often did GM Darga play the French Defense? Winawer he felt like it.
Awesome lesson. So much fun!
Wonderful video and wonderful game.
I assure You, its worth analysing the games of Sultan Khan..
Great principle to keep in mind
wow i cant beleive i saw the move before you announced it :D
Good rule in this jungle of rules and moves
I saw Bishop to C1 immediately I feel so proud 😅
Excellent post
Thank you
Great video ❤
Thanks!
Anatoly Karpov, please!
Thanks brother for the content.
i have huge respect for chess players. I never got into the game. It makes me aggressive because It's so freaking boring for me, staring at squares. Tried chinese chess, it's a bit more interesting but board games are simply not for me
I think Fischer called it a problem-like move.
I'm.not a great player, but that Bishop move was very obvious.
Make a video on Emory Tate games and please put players images front of their game
In your hypothetical rook to a8 line, why not take the knight?
Hey, its "Tahl", not "Tall". Nice channel, btw.
If you can't think of anything, improve the position of your worst placed piece. Thanks!
Nice game! 1900 FIDE strength player here: I worked out Bc1! and the idea and that the rook check etc would accomplish nothing for black. Darga is still alive? That is cool. I lost OTB to someone aged 92 once.
me too! and i'm unrated
A chain is only as strong as the weakest link.
i just hit 2k yesterday, what can i do to further improve my chess?
Become Magnus Carlson
endgames, endgames endgames,,,
Endgame training!
If Queen trades take place white also gets c3 talk about top notch
When I play chess, I make a lot of perfect moves. So, what is your point?
In fact Fischer was LUCKY he wasn’t playing me in that game. Nxe5 was better than Re1 explain to me why what I shared is wrong, especially after I go Qd4?
Fischer would crush you who tf do you think you are?
Watching Bobby Fisher play is like ants watching a giant bootsole coming down from the sky. Our little lives are puny and insignificant in comparison to the bootsole gods…
good shit
9:16 Petrosian would find this move in his sleep
ChessDawg Do u know Mere Sultan Khan?
Instead Fischer played Re1 a more inferior move
solid
Vladimir Makogonov (Azerbaijan, 1904-1993)
Darga/Дарга means Leader in my language😂.. Mongolian
Well, I am the worst chess player on the planet. But even I have seen Bishop c1. ;-)
When I watch these I realize I am not a GM.
This will get me to 700 I know it!
you are a rather loquacious fellow.
🙏🏽
That was the idea? What a waste
1st
I like the comments but somehow I find this talking face annoying
Thank you sir
Like with everything in chess, the key is knowing in what positions you have a time to take several moves to reroute a poorly placed piece
Thank you!
