Looks good, Kim! I recently picked up a Dark Star plant from Oceanside Dragon Fruit farm, it's great to hear that not only are the fruits beautiful, but it grows fast and tastes good too!
You should mix all varieties if it’s bloom same time than cross .. will give you big size fruit . Sweet can be your soil condition, fertilizer and climate ... If you like to have big fruit . You need to pinch of the branch that give you lot of buds . No more than three . Keep the branch 2 or 3 buds . If your branch strong healthy if your branch not mature than keep one bud so fruit develop bigger size .
I only have dark star and in 10 months it has set one fruit. So, I say self fertile but it has only grown to the size of a baseball which means it would be better pollinated by another variety.

Hi Kim, is Dark Star self-fertile? There is someone saying it is self-fertile and someone says no
