When I was about 12 years old I met art donovan at a card show in Chantilly VA in like the year 2010 or something so my dad could get an autograph. I had no idea he had a reputation as a funny guy. When we met I said some stupid thing and he chuckled and said I was a comedian. I didn't know much about him at the time, but seeing this video that's pretty awesome.
two things I remember of Art Donovon. The episode of "Pete and Pete" Where older pete tried to convince himself that the there was something special about the nfl championship game between the colts/giants “Mr. Donovan, doesn’t it mean anything to you that the first three letters in ‘Unitas’ are the same as the first three letters in 'universe?’” “Well, the first three letters in my last name is the first three letters in 'donut,’ and you don’t see me making a big deal out of it.”
The other thing I will remember is Art Donovan being a co-commentator for the King of The Ring in 1994 where he asked and I quote many times "How much does this guy weigh?:

Art Donovan certainly deserves his spot here, but don't forget he is in the Hall of Fame and won some championships along the way, as well.
