Tom Flores -- 2 SB wins in 80' and 83' --- also the first minority coach in the NFL. Al Davis had many faults, but even he stayed mostly out of the way when he knew somebody competent was at the helm. AL Davis couldn't convince the other AFL owners to stay independent. He did not want the 1970 Merger, WHY??? Because the AFL was winning the battle of draft pics, TV ratings, and its popularity was on a rapid rise.

Hard, legal hits are about controlling yourself and channeling your strength, which takes a lot more skill than just aiming for the head. Burfict just doesn’t have that. He played football like going hunting with an RPG. „Look how many deer I shot, I‘m such a good hunter“ except you didn’t shoot them but blast them to pieces, the meat is burnt and what you’re doing has nothing to do with hunting.
Favre was the reason I started watching football, seeing how much fun he had playing got me to sign up for YAFL. Brett Favre is the reason why I love football to this day
