Why are there constant undertones of subtle threats from this lady?Rather than using what she says happened to her as leverage to advance her career, why did she not just go and open a case the moment she was in her safe space🤨.

Feeling under the weather so I had to figure out whether I should comment or not. There’s a lot to say but I think chiefly, we’re missing the point about the nature of rape. It’s an intimate crime and I think lines can be blurry when it comes to rape between two people that have some sort of emotional connection. This is why rape within marriage is still a misunderstood concept. Imagine being raped by your husband and people say you’re faking because you asked him to bring along milk from work 😂.
I think it’s problematic that Owamie approaches this topic from a “women lie and we have sons” perspective because this colors even the way she narrates these screenshots. Notice how she makes a point to say “and this message was edited” , one wonders what this is meant to highlight. We all edit our messages if we make a typo. Should this be evidence of the lady crying wolf??
Anyway, I don’t know if she’s guilty or if he is, but I think that we should be objective until there is verifiable evidence.
Lastly, I think promises were probably made from Nota to the lady regarding the music or at the very least, some sort of business or partnership arrangement was made and both parties seemed to expect different things from the union. Nota wanted sex and maybe music and Itumeleng wanted music and then maybe a serious relationship. Either way, they are both shady in how they chose to handle it

it's clear that this lady was graped, no one can dispute that. She viewed it as transactional, and when it didn't go in her favor she became upset... understandably. What disturbs me is that, she not actually bothered by her grape, she's angry that she didn't get what she wanted out of it. I think when it comes to rape cases as society our must just respond by say “yoh, Hayi shem, sorry, did you open a case?” Only, and let the law take its course because we really never know what took place in that moment between the two parties. I do not believe the young ladies accusations. She seems like an impoverished person who is struggling and is now using this as a way to punish Nota for not making her famous or giving her a music career. Nota must also take responsibility for engaging with randoms he found wondering the streets and making them promises that he cannot deliver. Put simply you cannot go through trauma and then use that to negotiate a business deal or a rèlationship etc etc. Ladies also need to remember, to say no and not leave is crazy. Because you are not making a case that you were stopped from leaving or pinned down or any violence was used on you. These are the same woman who will fight a robber for an iphone but will just think a simple no is ok in this circumstance.
