"Maxwell stiffens...umm...not like that." This is why I love hearing the narrator's lines during script readings. You don't get the more adult jokes that was originally meant for the cast :P
*To those commenting on Benjamin Salisbury’s (Brighton) hair:* He can’t help it. 90% of men have a gene that causes male pattern baldness. The lucky 10% (like Charles Shaughnessy aka Maxwell) will have thick, full heads of hair well into their golden years. But for most men who have the gene (myself included) we’ll have anywhere from a slightly receded hairline (widow’s peak) to being full on bald depending on the severity of the genes you have. I personally take prescription hair loss medication but still have some thinning & receding that makes me very self conscious. Other men use over the counter products or have *very expensive* (like $20-40,000) hair transplant surgery. It’s an unfortunate part of being male that causes depression & low self esteem in a lot of men. So go easy on him. He’s just a human being.
I cannot believe that of all the things we could say at having almost the entire cast available for this lovely reading, people are commenting on hair loss…………real people/real fans, love everyone as is, at any time. Love you Ben!!!! You have perfect comedic timing!
I don't mean to be insulting, but I predicted he would lose his hair when I saw him in the later episodes where he was all grown up (college years, I believe). But I agree that the majority of men have a gene that causes male pattern baldness. Also, as we get older, we (both men and women) tend to shed more hair. On a side note, I was susceptible to hair loss until I ditched shampoos sold in stores (e.g., Suave) and switched to shampoos that are infused with caffeine and biotin. They are more expensive but they can potentially help with hair loss (I inserted "potentially" because just because it worked for me doesn't mean it'll work for everyone.).
So true - for men or women - losing hair does affect self esteem. Not easy to deal with at all. I thought they all looked fabulous - and I enjoyed their closeness and love after all these years!!! The love is what stood out to me the most.
I’m in tears of happiness. This series carried me throughout my teen years. Every night at 11 P.M. I would quietly turn on my bedroom TV and tune it to Nick at nite while the rest of the house was sleeping and I would anxiously anticipate hearing the Nanny theme song, would even softly sing along to it, then I would spend the next half hour smiling and laughing until I couldn’t take it anymore and passed out like a light by the end of the episode. Fran felt like my actual Nanny. No matter the kind of day I had I could always count on her and the rest of the cast to send me off to bed on a high note. There will never be another sitcom like this one. To this day I still binge-watch this series whenever I go through a tough time in my life and end my evenings feeling an immense amount of joy. It’s been my lifelong dream to Meet Fran and the whole Sheffield family. ♥️
It's special to see almost whole crew of "The Nanny". Yetta, long live the memory of her. My favorite comedian actors of all times are Robin Williams, Gracie Allen, W.C. Fields, Eddie Murphy, Fran Drescher, Mae West, Redd Foxx & Rodney Dangerfield.
I'll add to my list of favorite comedic actors, the whole Monty Python Crew. At times, Fran Drescher was funnier than anyone of them I listed above. The Fran I loved 40 years ago was not Fran Drescher, but a Fran; the funniest person I ever knew. Sad I listened to my military superiors persuading me that Fran would not be good for an officers wife. Again it wasn't Fran Drescher.
Niles stays the most iconic character of the whole show. Love him, absolutely. Also I love how everyone still looks the same. Love the giggle on “like Reagan at Grenada” lol
Such a smart script. I love how happy Fran was for Maggie’s first kiss. I love how witty the children were when insulting each other. “Thank you, Sybil!” Brilliant.

Yeah they definitely changed that detail after the pilot
"Maxwell stiffens...umm...not like that." This is why I love hearing the narrator's lines during script readings. You don't get the more adult jokes that was originally meant for the cast :P
At which minute is this?
@@Laaraa1144 when she just got hired.
Best show ever. And the chemistry between these actors is incredible.
True dat! 👍🏾
Ok so no one really talking about how Charles Shaughnessy still looks so charming ???
Yes he really does look great!
He looks even more charming.
Luciana Martins kinda, yes. I would do him anyway !
Yes, He is still such a gorgeous looking man.
Right. He's adorable 😍
After all these years I’m still crushing on Charles Shaughnessy?? Damn this man has aged so well
Me too
Me with Fran herself. Hahaha.
I agree with you. My husband ( who just left the navy) started going bald a year before he got out
I cannot believe that of all the things we could say at having almost the entire cast available for this lovely reading, people are commenting on hair loss…………real people/real fans, love everyone as is, at any time.
The love is what stood out to me the most.
all the other men that are much older than him still have all their hair though...
Yetta is cracking up in heaven. Bless her soul.
Lauren Lane still has that voice. I miss that sarcastic vengeful tone to Niles. Hahah
Love your heartfelt comment!
"There will never be another sitcom like this one."
not true. but the nanny was lighting in the bottle
I hope you get to meet her one day!
so sweet
@@andressswe Me too! 🤍
Still can't believe how he's from Texas in real life lmao
Tell me why Sylvia looks EXACTLY THE SAME
Renee Taylor is a legend
They probably aged her with makeup a little, on the show. She is not in the same make up, for this production
Natalie Elizabeth SHE DOESSS
Silvia now is yetta
@@TheIris44 clown
Charles Shaughnessy is out there being 65 and looking better than 99,99% men in their 20's
He's a stunner
He's handsome indeed
Still has that beautiful hair 😍
Gosh That man is gorgeous
Yes he is 🥰
I can't stop crying. This TV shows represents my entire childhood. Honor for the ones who deserves honor; The nanny's crew and cast!
Nicholle popping back on screen with her wardrobe change cracked me up. This whole reading was a treat!
The Nanny reunion, bringing back all the nostalgic childhood memories in the best way possible!
Yes!!
This is fabulous!!
I cried happy tears when she started singing the theme song
Goosebumps fr
Sa me😭😭😭
Wonderful
Same 😭❤️
Such a smart script. I love how happy Fran was for Maggie’s first kiss. I love how witty the children were when insulting each other. “Thank you, Sybil!” Brilliant.
Now I need the one where Fran gets stuck in the wine cellar with C.C.
Paula Torregrosa yes that is my favorite episode 🥰
Omg pleaseeee hahaha, I love this one
I saw this episode this morning 😂
Omg yes 🤣🤣
Paula Torregrosa oh! Oh! And the gardener also saw us! 😅
It's been 26 years and everyone's still got it!
I just can't get behind how well Niles and Fran worked together. From the moment he says "29" you can see how great that friendship will become
Omg Niles and CC's chemistry is amazing as always!!! Love seeing everyone. Yeta is dearly missed 😇
And Chester too.
Benjamin Salisbury was fantastic on this show. Not many kids can pull off that comedic timing and sass.
Brittany Powell Absolutely!
He looks so old being half bald
When Renee Taylor screamed “Morty!”.... I got a shiver!
I just love her. ❤️ 💕
They haven't changed a bit - and let us not forget Ann Guilbert who played the part of Yetta (she would have loved this)
Thank you all for making it happen - it was wonderful to see you all together again -- and please stay home, stay safe and stay well
Fran and Charles have aged beautifully and the chemistry is still there! Charles looks so dashing!
One of those silver foxes… 😉😍
when you realize that niles isnt actually british...
**confused screaming**
wait.. what?
He's from Arkansas, of all places
He actually acted at the royal theater in London
*visible confusion*
People use to say Charles needed to take lessons from the guy that played Niles because his British accent wasn’t convincing enough 😂 little did they know Mr.Sheffield is actually British and Niles is not 😂
THIS FELT LIKE A WARM HUG. . .Everybody was brilliant, everybody. . .we love you, Fran!
This is like the acoustic version of the show
I'm not getting over what a beautiful woman Madeline grew up to be. She is absolutely stunning 😍 They all look great. Lauren has that edgy art teacher vibe which suits her well since she's a acting professor in Texas. 🥰
“MORTY!” I absolutely loved the collective laugh. Sylvia is such a treat. A mallomar, if you will.
I love this moment hahaha im from Spain and in the pandemic in watching this tv show in Amazon Prime. Great laughs every day 🤣🤣🤣😊
Awe what a fun show to enjoy! Stay safe! ❤️
@@sitruchsral The same cute! stay safe :)
Sylvia “MORTY YOU WANT ANOTHER MALAMAR”. Omggg The whole cast lit up. My heart swelled to four times the size.
She's still got it!
When Niles and Cecee got together..it was pure gold!
Hearing Anne singing this song was so amazing and beautiful! One of the most iconic intros ever!
