Try plugging it all in and then resetting your modem again. Worked for me also might need a different Ethernet cable, some have 4 cables inside and some have 8. I don’t know much about this stuff but it worked for me. I had the same problem
my internet modem connection is perfectly fine, however when trying to connect my asus to modem, it glows red light indicating that theres no connection. why is this? im using WAN port to modem port. Even when going from modem to computer directly, theres internet connecton, so the modem is not the issue. Why is this happening? i also tried resetting the router many many times via power button and reset button.

Hello, i have a question about setup. After i steup the ASUS router, do i have to keep it plugged into the modem, or can i unplug the ethernet cable from the WAN port and move the ASUS router to a different room? Do I need to buy another router and use the AI mesh feature instead?

I have my main router that provides internet in the living room, i have 2 powerline adapters to use ethernet in my gaming room. How do i use the gaming router in the gaming room without putting it in my living room because the ethernet cable would be all over the house. I connected the powerline adapter and that ethernet cable to gaming router but the globe icon on left is red...EDIT all lights are white now and i have wifi but it hasnt showed up on my asus app on the MANAGE ROUTER nor did my internet speed go any faster it is still 70mbps
