The good news is that out of all the Panthera cats, jaguars are some of the less dangerous next to Asian snow leopards. They usually make a point to avoid people.

They noticed that one killed a small black bear. I think it was only around 100 pounds. So they will eat bigger things than mice. They will kill cougars too if they can catch them.

Once the animal is to large to handle - they escape (or are turned loose). This would not be the first time a large cat was turned loose in the US.

Yeah, predators can be introduced, but we can’t expect it to be everywhere all at once. It’s a long and expensive process. You have to remember the US is a big country.

And trust me leopards are better than wolves or Tigers are better than coyotes and wolves . They survive on all alone rather in packs so they can prey on a single deer for a week but wolves pack need constant hunting .
