Interesting. I feel like a chiropractor will help you relieve your pain by fixing/aligning your spine or posture. But you may need a PT in order to prevent to have this pain again. Like fixing your gait cycle and improving your neuro-muscular connections or learning how to activate certain muscle groups in your body by giving some sort of strength resistance feedback until you kinda do it in autopilot

@@mariovaldes3921 no! As chiropractor is not recognised as a medical profession. They’re only Doctors in their own profession. Where a physio doctor is recognised by the other medical professions as being a doctor. The difference is in the evidence based practice of both disciplines.

Just ask your chiropractors that if you are 80 years old with osteoporotic bones or with history of fractures or Post stroke paralysis Are you eligible for chiropractic session!!!!

Instead see an Osteopath, they actually treat you with stretches, massage, acupuncture. Physios just tell you to walk with better posture and to stretch at home. Chiropractors take £50 off you for doing a few adjustments which can cause injury and see you for 10-15 minutes only.

Chiropractors are quacks who are only ever right by accident or by copying physiotherapy's homework.

no offence for the Physiotherapist but I am speaking for myself here and not for everyone, at least in my experience here in down under, after trying both physiotherapy and chiropractic treatments for my low back pain, I found that seeing physiotherapist is kind of useless, I feel like wasting my time and money. The physiotherapist simply gave me a list of exercises to do at home, no treatment done on my back pain. Whereas, the chiropractors did all the SMT or adjustments on me in a very safe way on the adjustment beds. After seeing the chiropractors for about 4 sessions, my pains were gone. The Chiropractor also gave me some stretching and exercise to stabilize my core while I am at home.

I had a similar experience when I had physiotherapy on the NHS. Yesterday I had a private consultation with a chiropractor and he's gone over my issues and back with a fine tooth comb. He's given me hope for the future. PS I'm an Aussie living in London.

It’s interesting you say this ass usually all I hear is people mocking chiropractic and telling everyone to only do physiotherapy. Both are great when done right and like everything, there’s good and bad in all professions. Thank you

See that's the issue - you get booked in multiple times for manipulation at a chiropractor clinic when general back pain goes away on its own. The whole point of a physio is educating and giving you the ability to look after yourself rather than consistently relying on going back to the clinic. You're given exercises because those exercises help to target the core issues that are causing you back pain, that's what it's all about, empowering you to look after yourself. There's no point in going to a chiropractor every time u get back pain for them go do adjustments on u etc.

@@MsThomas138 did you even read my post? I only went for 4 sessions with Chiro, and thats about it while with Physio, I came there multiple times and nothing was really helpful in fixing the core issue that i was having. As I said I am speaking for my self only , since it's my own experience, yes some might get their problem sorted by going to physio therapist, with me it didn't work, I tried. I went to Chiro and it worked. If you really read my original post, I did say that the Chiropractor did give me some stretching exercise to help stabilize my core and I've been using those to help maintain my back without the need to keep going back to see Chiro.
