    Yep, I was wondering if those basically disappear after impact. I'll get some. Thanks a bunch.

    Cool video. It would've been nice if you zoomed in on the target some.

    Would these work for shooting bullfrog you think? Looks like the disintegrate against steel. Just curious as to what happens when one hits a frog.

    What flat band gauge you recommend for 10mm clay ?

    • @jimmyrustler8983
      @jimmyrustler8983 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You want very light band/tube for shooting these, I use 1636 tube. 👍

    I have to disagree with them not being fine for hunting. It depends more on what kind of bands you use. I only use Therbands, and speargun rubber on my conventionasl slingshots, and they break 200 fps with steel balls. Clay balls are lighter and go much faster, over 250 fps in some cases. This is approaching the lower end of air rifle speeds, with a much larger projectile than a .177 or .22 bb or pellet. I hunt small game with mine all the time and regularly kill game up to the size of Norway Rats ( up to 20" long and a weight of 2+ lbs).
    I guess it's probably a matter of opinion, but I have no trouble hunting with clay balls. But I have been known to use rocks as well, so take it for what it's worth. BTW, my main slingshot is a Pocket Shot with the heavyweight pouch. I think these are the ultimate slingshots. They hit like a ton of bricks.

    I used to shoot rocks at the abandoned house that was falling apart. The rock would land on the porch. It was more than 100 decibels loud. It was loud as a gun almost. The rocks hit the gutter and it's so loud. It echoes everywhere in the woods

    Time to bust out with the old Daisy Powerlines and practice. I have a bad squirrel and rabbit problem in my driveway (I live in the mountains) but I’m close enough to neighbors that it isn’t safe for firearms or a pellet rifle to deal with them, but this is a novel idea, and I won’t worry nearly as much about striking the asphalt and ruining somebody’s day if I miss.

    that camera angle is abysmal. Either the target is hidden by the hand or it goes out of focus as soon as you shoot. Not one shot was properly filmed impacting the target.
