The Legendary Starfy is one of my favorite DS games.
It does have a vaguely Kirby vibe, but it's very much so its own thing. There's a good amount of focus on character dialogue and the game is about half water level and half non-water level. The water levels are actually really really good. I love starfy I often return to it when taking trips
i really thought that the overflow exploit on the final/secret boss on chrono trigger is intentional cause the boss looks like a giant tick that absorbs everything and dies with it, so to save the world the party fed it too much power so it would fill up and destroy itself before it could absorb everything.
If you ever want to break the habit of your Kirby - never played - streak, go and play all of them from the first to last. And let us, the community, help you with it :3

I am pretty disappointed that Yo-Kai Watch 4 didn't get an American release, as a fan of the Franchise having beaten the second game, It's quite heart-breaking not being able to play the last entry in this franchise before it shut down.
For sure. Doesn't help that the C-virus really put a number into their already plummeting sales just before shut down. They were previously struggling according to newsites in the Summer of 2019 and had to lay off some game designers along with some programing staff but had reassured everyone that everything would be alright and that they were continuing with operations. I actually really liked Zelda 2, however I will admit the English version had some really weird changes. They actually made leveling harder and pushed you into a predetermined build. I only play the Japanese version now which has the better leveling system and even the better soundtrack thanks to the stronger hardware.

On the topic of Japanese games not coming over, I am disappointed that they while they translated Blazing Blade, they didn’t bother translating Binding Blade, which is a direct sequel.

Imo YKW4 would of been the best of the series if it had released. I never once thought it would out do Pokemon, in fact I blame it for the way the Pokemon Sun & Moon anime's first season where Ash was in school rarely doing anything interesting every episode.
Though unlike most in the two fandoms, I saw them as two separate mediums. Gameplay was different from Pokemon's.
And the last two only had a couple hundred copies available. It's no wonder that they're considered some of the rarest 3DS games.

I'd highly recommend Kirby Super Star Ultra for the DS if you're looking for a first-time Kirby game!! Kirby Planet Robobot and Return to Dream Land for the 3DS and Wii respectively are both great options too :)

My step sister and I would race for literal hours, taking turns being the Shy Guy (default player 2 character, if you were sharing one copy)(which meant we legitimately just swapped the game between the two DS consoles every once and awhile, it was great)

No one really needed to ask for Mother 1 anymore since we did eventually get an official English release under the name Earthbound Beginnings. Mother 3 however has yet to get any official English release whatsoever so there’s more reason to complain.

You know, I think the 360 was actually pretty popular in Japan, in fact many popular VNs got their start as 360 exclusives (unfortunately JP only tho, still waiting for that international steins;gate port for Xbox). They fell off with xbone tho sadly but so did everyone else despite it being a good console. But I too dismissed the xbone for years before getting one and selling my soul to it lmao
