What happens when the water pump dies? Gravity fed FTW!

Having a gravity fed header tank for our household water has been such a good move. Apart from being far more energy efficient for our off grid solar powered home, it buys you time!! Yes precious time, why? Because you have water stored, you don't need to panic when the pump dies. We will definitely be setting something similar up for the permaculture farm.
