  • In this video I demonstrate an easy trading strategy which uses a 2:1 reward to risk ratio profit target. The strategy doesn't use any indicators for those of you who like clean charts.

Thank you for the video. I really appreciate your calm approach and analitical skills. The thing that I found most interesting is the RRR results, especially as it seems that a 1:1.5 RRR tends to be the most profitable ratio. Unfortunately a 1:1.5 RRR doesn't sound very sexy. But in my 25 years of trading it's the ratio that seems to work best for me on a consistent basis. Do you have other videos comparing RRR results. And if so can you point me in the right direction. And if not will you please consider producing some in your future content. Cheers and thanks again. Stefano Lucchesi - England

Sounds like 1:1.5 is most profitable, had been winning trades based on 1:1 so might try your method

Confused newbie here. I just watched your video which states that a 2:1 risk reward ratio is a thoroughly bad idea.

Really interesting. I'm a bit confused why the expectancy, based on the WR and RRR, do not match the overall profitability ratings.

A couple of reasons, 1. because I have added a small amount of costs which makes the profit slightly reduced and 2. some trades exit and enter a new trade in the opposite direction before hitting the profit target.

@@webentwicklungmitrobinspan6935 Our little trading group has excellent results from day trading. It is certainly possible to be profitable. Check out the many TH-cam videos on order blocks and order flow - that's a good place to start. You simply have to understand what the market makers are doing and ride along on their coattails.
