Jay, how about finally buying a record cleaning machine? I've tried quite a few and I really recommend the KL Audio for performance and ease of use. You should have investigated the AS Systems turntables, and that massive thing was a turntable, a little closer. A missed opportunity.

There's NOTHING at this show that the average person can afford other than maybe the food/snacks and bottles of water.
EVERYTHING I've seen so far is CRAPPY SOUNDING OVERPRICED GARBAGE with an emphasis on "overpriced".
Did anyone else here notice that most all of the rooms were playing some stupid, unheard music containing female vocals?
That's because female vocals sound good even on a 1980's GE clock radio.
Play something from the 1970's(Bee Gees, ELO, Wings, etc.) and I can assure you most of these overpriced POS systems will fall flat on their faces!
This so-called show should be renamed to The 2023 Munich Millionaire HiFi Show.
I wouldn't attend this so-called show even if it didn't cost me a dime to go there and back.
Don't agree to this. Nubert is one quite affordable brand over here.
And yes, there are lots of rooms which sound bizarre, but there were some great ones (for instance the Piega, the Chronosonic, the smaller Canton reference and the Backes and Mueller Jubilee, the BACCH demo, the smaller Estelons).
It also shows that there are discernible differences even at shows.
Many people have missed to head over to HifiDeluxe where FM Audio and Linkwitz were amazing in my ears.
