I once heard that you need to find a problem to solve and watch out if there's demand for it. I noticed that pattern in businesses a lot. They're not really aesthetic focused and perfect. It's sad that your business failed, but at least you have some experience at hand now for the future :D My parents once had a little business, and they always told me it has to be good quality, not pretty. As long as it's functional, it works. I understood what they meant but only now, I entirely grasp it. I get where you're coming from with that artist perspective. I've practiced those skills because they're my hobby. I think it was hard to continue once it became more serious, but I kept going and I love the skills I've developed. So I recommend writing small stories and little 15 minutes studies for writing and practice that if you haven't and are still interested, haha.
