These teardowns are really useful, Bob. Thanks for them. I use these vids to plan button layouts for games. Like some mice have circular micro-switches for the DPI and side buttons that only have 5 to 10M click rating and I avoid using those for often-pressed key-bindings(to avoid having to replace them). Good to know Glorious uses more durable micro-switches for the Model I that are relatively easy enough to replace.
@@Beardedbob There's surely gotta be some rough diamonds in there somewhere, but the only problem would be where to start, but at least price isn't a big issue.

Simple fix for the thumb feeling trapped, removed the clutch button and matched the height of the side buttons with some grip tape. Can still use them, just recessed a tiny bit kinda like the viper ultimate. thumb is F R E E from jail tho.

I noticed it was narrow around the thumb rest too. Immediately dug out my g502 and basilisk v2 to check, theyre def more comfortable for the thumb.
100% my thumb feels trapped in there.

i hate the thumb rest, i have big hand and would rather my thumb touch the mouse pad than my pinky. it forces my hand to claw grip it

G502? logitech is better its the OG but this is a lot lighter so depends what you are after.
