I love the way the roof and hood fades to the sides. Not a huge fan of all the rust stripes but it's looking amazing overall.

When I was younger I'd watch Bob Ross on TV and about halfway through an episode I always thought his paintings looked done, but he kept adding to it and made them spectacular. This video gave me the same feeling. Around the 7:00 mark when you did the b-roll shots of just the black and browns, I thought the truck looked great, but by the end of the video, you knocked it out of the park. Awesome job, can't wait to see the box done and the truck all assembled.
It's like the Ranchero all over again but better. You really knocked it out of the park. I would love to see you take this Lincoln Town car to the insurance company for a vehicle inspection or to CarMax to see what they offer for an old best up Lincoln.

Nice to see a Pro's approach on TH-cam for a change!! The main thing I learned in this was the spatter coat. Kinda late for that on my project, but hope to get similar by dabbing with a natural grown sponge. The kinda grainy way top coat paint weathers as it feathers into the primer has been the toughest for me. Neither sprayed on paint nore sandpaper get it right. I also like the way, on your "primer" color, you put down 2 coats so when you sand down to it, it's forgiving. Wish this vid had come out about a year ago. I'm 75 and doing a Patina Driver restoration on a War Time ('45) Chevy Civlilan 1/2 Ton. Like your tip on the gloss clear coat. I think I'll do that, then Scothbright down to the sheen I want. Personally I'm not a fan of patina's as a whole, but I do personally like the original better, but not by much. However I do much much appreciate your attention to detail vs most patina's being basically just slapping a layer of clear coat over it. People have different tastes, and what's important is that YOU like it, and it sounds like you do. Personally if I were doing it, I would had made it look like it's brand new from the showroom, but even better. Probably in a blue and white combo, instead of a mint and white, but personal tastes and all.
