Bro this patina paint job has to be the best one yet. They get better and better every time, this one looks so natural. Imma need to see you kickflip off the bed when it gets done
Trying to duplicate age and patina is not an easy process to do. I think you’ve done a hell of a job. Hey and you’ll only get better every time you do another one. Good job man.
I wanted to see a full paint job but what I totally forgot is tht my boy Bodevision is doing the pain job and boy u did it again another masterpiece. I hv so much respect for this dude.
Truck looks amazing. You have one of my favorite channels. Keep up the great content. Only one problem....your videos need to be longer...I can't get enough.
You're one of the Kings of Patina and I dig your shop especially the exhaust fans. It's nice to see a guy care about the lungs. The white roof is always a great look and cooler in the sun.
I mean - since you asked fir it 😂😂😂😂 I would have cleared over the front bumper too …. I suppose you still could …. BUT this paint job turned out AWESOME! In its own way better than the slambox
lol thanks for the feedback! I’m going to see the grille and bumper on the truck and then decide if I want to clear over it. Also clearing of real rust could cause issues in the future
Hey man, I really love the content the stuff you’re putting out is really sweet. The reason why I found your content is because I recently have been building a 1966 Chevy C 10 of my own and I’m looking at hopefully being able to do a patina paint job on it. If you have any tips I’d love to hear them. Look forward to see what you do next.
Best patina paint yet I dig this “style” a lot and agree with u that it is an art or craft and you have fun with it. Worse case u start over. Loving man
You are killing it! Great work and you keep the variety coming. My ADHD has me working on 10 other projects besides the Celica... but when I get my stuff together I def want you to spray the repair spots.
I was actually looking at John Deere green at the paint shop next to this color. I landed on this one over the green. I think it looks nice and the cool thing about painting is I can experiment with different colors depending on how I’m feeling. Also I think the green will go well with the bronze wheels that I have for the truck.
Fantastic job Adam the patina paint job is like the slam box superb but they are both different and both great in their own way, it certainly has the BodeVision touch to both of them, looking forward to seeing the bed fitted👌🙏👍John UK
Looks great! Suits the age of vehicle and checks off everything you said you wanted! Looking forward to seeing what comes next. You'd mentioned putting storage bins under the bed, that's something be interested in seeing how you go about it. 👊
Love it, I actually just picked up a patina'd 93 f150. But given my nature to give it my own touch, I plan to redo it hopefully over the summer with my own touch, so I especially like these vids as tutorials for myself. Can't wait to see this one complete, also! 💯🔥
Dang looking amazing. I like that brown with that black though I don’t know maybe I’m weird.❤❤❤❤ thank you.. your friend is a photographer, and he helps out
Nice job Adam! Patina paint, is a tearpitation of something natural, and I think you pulled it of....It would be fun to see all patina job besides each other.... And my onkel couldnt done a better job!👍
For next time they have lower stick "template" vinyl if you want to give that a go. I can't wait to see the final product. The only thing I personally struggle with on this and the slambox is the shine. I think I would maybe knock the gloss off with whatever grit sandpaper if I ever tried a patina like this. Thanks for the continued content.
That's a really artistic approach to patina paint job. Some of it makes no sense at all patina wise like the logo going over the weathering or the super wet clear. And those crazy details are part of what makes it great and unique. No hate at all, i love it
Hey Bode, I recommend “Spray Mask” it’s a vinyl with low tack it will not lift basecoat. I use it all the time and also make stencils for other painters. Never had an issue
Looks good. I think too many people overdo the effects, and it ends up looking really fake. This has just the right amount. The slam-box is a little much for me. Before someone comes at me, yes I'm aware it's not mine 🙄.
Forget about anyone coming for you! I appreciate the opinion. I feel the slam box had a really neat look to it. Almost movie car style. So I really really like how it came out. This was meant to be more natural which a lot of people are definitely liking just like you. Thanks for watching
Looks freaking mint!!! Haha love it dude, looking forward to the finish product. I’m assuming you’re going to be doing some tintable raptor bed liner? Guess we have to wait for the next upload to see😅
would starting with a brown/red oxide primer rather than grey help with your coloring process? Ive never done a real car, but Ive done a few patina jobs on scale models and that always worked very well for me
I really like your approach to this compared to the slam box or the ranchero. My opinion those two cars that had too many drips. To me it looked kind of like there was chocolate everywhere versus this actually looks worn but it was clear coated
This is from when i was working on my LS1 swapped Honda accord (Japanese car with American v8) and also has to do with the fact that i work on a lot of Japanese cars and American stuff as well. 011 is the call out code to call out of the us and 81 is the call in code for Japan.

Portable skate spot! The best reason for a flat bed
@@BodeVision Hell yeah! Keep it up man

*Dude wtf I can’t BELIEVE how good and natural this looks!! Damn I’m so happy with the way it came out it’s gonna look sick finished* 🔥
Thanks for checking it out through the process!
I think you achieved your goal. They definitely look different than each other.
You killed that one man! She's looking sweet 🤌
This truck looks amazing brother, job well done!!
Perfect look for that truck. The white top really makes it for me. That green is mean!
Yes! This was just a spur of the moment green and I’m so happy with it

The king of fauxtina!
Knocking it outta the park like always
Another patina paint job well executed!!!
No way my uncle would have done it better than you!!
Looks great! Almost as good as my slambox! #slambox winner 👍🏻 Keep up the good work!
Hey man! Hope the trucks been treating you well and it would be awesome to have the trucks together one day!
@@BodeVision let me know and we will make it happen!
FREAKING BEA-UTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!
Great vision. Nice outcome
Thank you kindly
Dude that turned out cherry,Adam! Love it!
🔥 🔥 👍 Right on looks good
Appreciate it
Camera doesn’t do it justice, this one’s a keeper
100%! The detail in person is next level!

Hey man! So I would go back and watch some of my other paint series where I go into full paint jobs. The 77 Celica is a great one to learn from
Looks great 👍
Thanks 👍
Looks awesome 😎
Thanks!
Adam , looks great the clear really brings it all home and it is now protected from the elements
Yes! I feel like a work vehicle or a vehicle that will see heavy use should have a solid coat of clear
My uncle, who is a professional, said this looks sick bro! Hahahaha
lol shout out to professional unc
Wow great job!! 👌 ur doing what i always wanted to do with paint but i lacked the confidence then i got older 😅
Can't wait to see it with the new wheels
Best patina paint yet I dig this “style” a lot and agree with u that it is an art or craft and you have fun with it. Worse case u start over. Loving man
Yes! It’s all about having fun while doing it.
Man oh man this truck is looking awesome! i like it even more that the slam truck which is fantastic as well!
I really like them both! The slammed truck was a show stopper in my opinion and this is a good work truck for me
I love it, Adam. This one came out even better than the first one. Big congrats! Thanks for sharing. Dutch regards Nico.

Hey man! I was thinking about the Celica the other day and where you were at on it. Either way just shoot me a text when you’re ready!
Amazing, simply amazing
Glad you think so!
Cool color
Logo and Patina came out FANTASTIC ! Hate that shade of green. Perhaps you could say it's an old John Deere service truck.

Came out great 🤩

Please experiment with satin finishes would like to see the outcome of that
I have messed with a cheap flat clear and I didn’t like it. Maybe I can try again with a better product.
Similar but totally different, awesome turn out!😎
My uncle wouldn't have painted it green, but I love it
The subtlety of this one looks much better than the box. Very nice
dumper looks great
it looks great !!
Be cool if you could do realistic rust corners on the bottoms. Love your work my guy.

Ma BOY did the Damn thing again and this one is totally different from the SlamBox, proud of you Bro a Geinus went to work and setting it on Fire 🔥
Looks fantastic! Green is my favorite color so I may be a bit bias...lol. Great job!
Looking good 👍👍

The texture is the best technique to patina

Look great bro 👍👍
You're a very creative artist! That looks stunning. I would add some striping around the letters maybe... It is a great piece you've created!
Thanks!
Wow!! This looks amazing!! 🔥 you did a good job! You earned my sub!
What are you thoughts on Pinstriping the logo and the hood? Either way the Dumper paint job turned out sick!!
Nice nice 🎉but now its too nice dont scratch my truck 😮😮😮 nothing to say or add 👌👌👌💚

You are going to need DOT numbers for that heavy vehicle. Just kidding. The truck looks great.

Did you get more ink done?
My arms been done at this amount for a few months now. But from last year, a lot is new
I really like your approach to this compared to the slam box or the ranchero. My opinion those two cars that had too many drips. To me it looked kind of like there was chocolate everywhere versus this actually looks worn but it was clear coated
Not judging. But this truck would of looked so sick with just this green and a white roof... would look proper to the era
If the body was better I would agree
Do your buddy make stensils for sale? What if i already have the artwork, etc..?
The truck is sick, are you going to wet sand and clear the bumpers?
What paint are you using? Like brand and type. I want to try this on my truck but i don't know about auto paint
Truck looks great! What's 011.81 mean

Uncle would have done better. Fire dude. I like it better than the slambox. Both are good but dumper looks more minimal as a patina.
I wonder what it would look like if you put a little bit of pearl in the clear of a patina. Probably wouldn't look good but what if it did🤔
Adam is there a reason why you use gloss instead of semi gloss or satin clear?
Yes, easier to spray and easier to maintain
This pickup deserves a flow coat
Go check out my ig lol
