Ive been thinking about joining the ADF (Army in particular) but ive heard some bad things about the culture, especially during training saying "its the worst bullying ive ever seen" and more like that. Anyways, ive always wanted to join the army, as im not interested in any other civilian jobs, but that is the only problem i have, the culture during training. Could you please let me know if this is accurate, if its still worth joing, etc.

You will always hear the worst about something because that's what people will talk about rather than all the good. I loved my time serving and feel the culture is something you will never experience anywhere else, in a good way. You go through some really hard things as a collective and make friends for life through it all.

@@outperformfitness that's what I thought might be the case, but nice to hear that it is true. I've just heard some bad things from people that don't want me to join, or anyone from that matter. Anyways, can't wait to join once I finish up school.

They don’t want 🐱 in the army you have to be tough and if you can’t handle someone bullying you, then you cannot handle anything in combat.
