Nice review. That tank looks like it would work well for me. I am glad you pointed out that you can see the fuel inside the tank. I was leaning towards a natural color tank so that I could see the fuel, but I like the looks of the yellow better. And thanks for showing the level of each additional gallon - now I won't have to bother with that experiment. And I hadn't thought about the need for dual petcocks until you pointed that out. Good info to share.
Thanks, now I know how to say it like an Italian. The gel seat is good because it lets you put your feet down lower. I'm not short but it's nice in a tough situation. It is not more comfortable though. I made a custom "sweet cheeks" mod which is a lot more comfortable for those long hauls. Maybe I'll do a review of that.
Nice review. Nice of you to post good video images of the tank. By the way, Acerbis is pronounced a-CHAIR'-bees. Acerbis had a T-shirt, at one time, that had an 'A', a picture of a chair, and a swarm of bees. I guess they knew we all didn't know how to say it. That T-shirt taught a lot of us to pronounce it correctly as have vendors/reps and internet advertisements. Good review. Thanks again for posting.
I stumbled on this video looking for a Acerbis handguards review...I have a KLR so this isn't at all applicable to me hahaha, but I still wanted to leave a comment just on the quality of the video review..very insightful...good stuff Alex
You may want to use small hose clamps for those gas lines & I would carry a extra gas line T if you have broken one. Good video glad you made it I'm considering on getting a DRZ400 my self & this is one mod I would need to do for long rides. Just sub you will watch your other videos.
That's a tough one, the better bikes tend to be pretty high. If you are just starting out off road I would recommend a smaller bike like a TW200, XT225, CRF230 because you can learn the basics and have the confidence of lower seat height and less weight when the going gets tough (it always eventually gets tough).
are you still running this tank and how has it held up? I've got an 05 E model and wanted a higher capacity tank. So far this one seems to be the route I want to take over the IMS
I have this tank on my 05 drz sm well worth the money great set up
how did you manage to fit that on SM model? I can't fit it because on my ventilator on radiator.

+mitchell baxter I sold the bike after I fractured a patella last year (not while riding). The tank is great.
How did you enter the ADVrider discount?
how do you like the gel seat?
Did you get it from justgastanks.com?
Where did you find a discount code on ADV Rider?
Hi, How many kms/miles to you get to the tank and on what gearing? Cheers
I had stock S model gearing and got about 40 mpg but it varies so much with terrain, jetting, rider, speed, and luggage so yours will be different.
Ah-Chair-beece...........is how you say that. It is an Italian surname
