      Real Russian Club thank you, Daria! I don't know why but it seems like my part has some trouble with timing. Probably I made a mistake during the rendering this time. Thanks again, I sincerely appreciate it:-)

      Real Russian Club yes, you're right I did so. Just my moves are a bit rapid, but let's say it's because I'm from the future (it's already Thursday where I am:D)

    I really enjoy this method of learning, and Max is a good story teller. I can relate. В 2015 году, я ходил пешком весь Аппалачский след с моим рюкзаком. 3524 километра за шесть месяцев. Hundreds of people "thru-hike" the Appalachian Trail every year and it's a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Thanks for another good video, Daria.

    Hi Max, hi Daria..thank you for this great lesson. I really enjoyed it. And yes, I was thinking to go into the wild for a couple of days, maybe two weeks. But I was thinking of Alaska. But don't mind, a long time ago Alaska belongs to Russia....😉

    • @RussianWithMax
      @RussianWithMax 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Beste Ike Wow, cool! I remember I enjoyed so much the story of Dick Proenneke who went to Alaska and spent there 30 years or smth like that. He was filming his living, such an interesting guy! I think you have, probably, heard about this:)

    • @besteike
      @besteike 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Russian With Max No 😊 I got "infected" by the story James A. Mitchener wrote. Such a great story. It starts with the transcontinental moving and the building of Alaska went over to mammoths, Inuit, the discovering of the bearing sea and other discoverer and adventurer over buying Alaska from Russia by the USA to the goldrush and oil-rush. The hole history of this landscape. Very, very interesting

    Спасибо вам Макс и Дарья. Эта история напоминает мне об американском писателе Thoreau . Как Вы наверно знаете он написал книгу Walden. Я не хочу сидеть один в лесу и курить сигареты но это интересная история. Как древние люди в Сибири ловили рыбу? С Удочкой?

    • @RussianWithMax
      @RussianWithMax 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chad Andrews О, да! Г. Торо один из моих любимых американских писателей! Его книга Уолден просто великолепна! Столько интересных мыслей и опыта. Я точно не уверен, какой способ рыбалки он использовал, но есть фильм, снятый по этой истории, может быть там есть ответ на этот вопрос:)

    • @RealRussianClub
      @RealRussianClub  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you can speed the video up :D but actually this method is for everyone who has troubles with speaking. sometimes people are really good at grammar, they can read and write well, but can't speak. These super simple questions help to gain confidence and relax:)

    It would certainly help that you have the full transcriptions that we can download. The printed translation on the video was spotty at best. Again if you have the full available transcripts in Russian from the beginning to end. It would be ideal. In that way if we're not sure of the meaning we can easily Google translate it and enhance our learning curve more speedily.

    I have been trying to learn Russian & it has been a slow process. I haven't been as dedicated as I need to be. I listen to Russian music & video in the back ground & can pick up words here & there. In this video, I turned it on & shoved the phone in my pocket & just listened. I was able to understand about 30- 40% of what he was saying, yet I speak Russian like a 2 year old child! Is this normal? I can understand some of what is being said but babble like a baby when trying to respond!

    • @RussianWithMax
      @RussianWithMax 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Joanna Tester thanks for your feedback it's helpful! I started to upload an audio version and PDF as well for my new tprs lessons, so you can listen to it via your phone more easily. About what you said: 1. It's normal if it's OK for you and you aren't in rush but enjoy. If it bothers you, well, you need to make some changes. 30-40 % show that this story is a bit difficult for you, so you'd better try to do one step down and find smth you can understand about 70% or just listen to this story many many times. And one more think you can answer just 'yes' or 'no' at the first, because the step one is to establish comprehension and these elementary answer are going to help you to switch listening to the active mode. Good luck!

    Although it is sad to note, it must be said that according to the world's leading political scientists and geopolitical experts, in about 200 years, it is very unlikely that there will still be Russians in Siberia, because as you can see, the Russians are less and less demographically speaking . Young Russians also prefer to expatriate due to ongoing political problems, while the Chinese are an expanding population and it is probable that Siberia will become at least partially Chinese in about 100 or 200 years.
