The conversations about the curse of knowledge, and optimization paralysis, are INCREDIBLE! Definitely the best discussion on the points game I've heard the last year. I gave you guys big kudos on the P2 video before, this one tops that. This is the "inside baseball" talk that is rarely articulated. Anthony provided a perfect "other side" on his viewpoints. The insight of earning more UR vs optimizing is simple yet profound. Bravo guys!

Budget Travel is amazing. The destination is what matters to me.

So what is considered a good CPP for hilton? I've typically get 1cpp or more. There worth like 0.48 I believe. Having the 2 Aspires and typically focusing on resorts for travel to use the resort credit 1cpp is very common..which I consider to be good.

I dont understand this approach to only using points as a general rule unless your getting 10X the value. Why would you not use points most of the time If you can keep cash in your pocket! That cash I keep by using points I can actually use for other things, invest, give, pay for daily expenses etc… the points aren’t earning you interest, they are actually losing value by just sitting there. It makes no sense to me.

Sounds like Anthony just needs to plan a RTW trip that includes Hawaii, Japan, and Italy…and throw in a couple Park Hyatts. That way you can do it for less than 700k points 🌏🌍🌎

You’re so right, haha, so far I have a little over 250k Hyatt from the 2 inks this year 😂
I probably could be a little more budget friendly haha.

💯 correct. Many places are too expensive to pay cash, but not expensive enough to use points 😂😂😂😂😂

Seems like you should be maximizing your experience. What's more important, number of nights or quality of nights.

I would choose number of nights if there ain’t special occasion. But things changes quickly if your player2 think else

No, budget travel isn’t trash. How do people live while traveling the entire time, they budget.

Have any of you been to Thailand? Right now I am booked at the Grand Hyatt Bangkok for $200 + 6000 points per night for a Suite. But it would only be $300 and 6000 points per night for a Suite at the Park Hyatt... would you do the Park Hyatt. I am one of those that hasn't done the ultra luxury hotel. Would this one qualify in your opinions?
