Nobody ever really addresses the poor availability of the nicer Hyatt properties. I've tried booking more than 6 months out and a property isn't available so many times in comparison to other programs.
I think it depends on which properties you are looking at. The top-tier Hilton properties have even worse availability than Hyatt (WA Cabo, Conrad Bora Bora, etc). The only Hyatt I've really had trouble booking at is their AIs or Grand Hyatt Kauai -Shaun
Alot people are doing all inclusives because of the inflation of the carribean, so normal families and people go for the easy all inclusive....plus is a short travel to mexico, secrets tulum going up to 30k now, i booked at 20k
I haven't been but it does look like a nice hotel. My issue is the redemption rates are now going to be too high to justify. I do think using a SUA at the hotel is a great value regardless of how you book -Shaun

Have you tried setting up an alert? That helps me. I’d add PH Kyoto to the list of hard to book properties.
@@marcusyoung5440 I had the same experience with Park Hyatt Kyoto and ended up booking at Roku Kyoto LXR instead.

I’m having a hard time using my free night Hyatt reward for my Japan trip
Japan is probably because of the exchange rate.

I dont care that properties i have no intention of going to got cheaper... the places i like, all went up.

Got 3 nights booked for next year in a suite, no SUA but 32k per night is a lot better than 40k.
Went there. It was not great for the points.
