Master of repair.. I would've probably broken that camera in 6 different ways.. 💀 💀 Any chance you know the reason of error 20 on canon r50 With only 4000 actuations.. What's crazy is that it always happens in low light situations.. Never outdoors..
Error 20 is a shutter issue all throughout the canon lines. Sometimes it could just be failing and throw the code. Or the shutter motor is bad but something to do with the shutter component. Strange it’s only in low light situations. How long have you had the r50?
@HansomsRepairs first time it happened was in auto mood indoors with flash on .. With pretty low light... and before I fully clicked the shutter, I saw the camera was struggling to lock focus.. As soon as I clicked.. I got error 20 and the shutter probably clicked 20ish times in less then 2seconds .. I turned it off.. Took out the battery and sd card.. Then put them in and it worked fine.. I doubt it's the hardware tbh.. I used the highest numbers of FPS drive mode and probably took 300 pictures outdoors without any issues at all.. Currently I'm using electronic shutter so I don't run to that problem again.. I've had the r50 for about a year or so..
Waiting for the R10 camera disassembled
On it! You want it fully dissembled or was it the front mount you needed dissembled?
@HansomsRepairs I want to see the disassembly just like with this camera
Just posted it!
@HansomsRepairs Thank you for this I just watched it in full
